I love to see you reviewing knives Thanks for showing the acrylic bc there are still some decent prices on them but most sites don’t have good enough pictures to risk money on I’ve always wanted to see a Ben Hogan in hand bc the photos don’t really give me a good idea about it I’m surprised to see the 110 although I love Buck Knives Grace and Peace
Rob and I did a video collaboration all about the Ben Hogan and Babylon Hill Special knives some years ago in our TKA ( Traditional Knives Anthology ) video series. It's close to a 45 minute video featuring several of my Ben Hogans and 1 Babylon Hill with swing guard, as well as a Ben Hogan owned by Rob at the time. Go check out that video, you'll get too see plenty of them in hand.......as well as the history behind Ben Hogan the man, and his partner French Kate, as well as the history & legends of Pithole City.........site of the world's 1st oil wells. One of our better videos in the entire series.
Your #92 Eureka Jack is on Antique Goldenrod Camel Bone (as is mine). Joan Mae told me that Bill had a major hand in making these. Your 100-year-old Stockman was a joy to see, holding its own still. I just received my first Buck 100 - delighted to report they've returned to solid ebony again. But immensely proud to boast that I can now match your GECs (apart from the Viper which i don't have) knife for knife, sometimes with the same covers, usually not - imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!
Glad to see another traditional video. I usually don't like acrylic, but the acrylic on your 88 is FANTASTIC!!! I feel about it like you do Hummingbird acrylic. 😂
Don't forget: that Robeson Pocket-Eze stockman is one of the very rare ones featuring 2 clip point blades. Most stockmans have a sheepfoot blade........but not this very old & rare Robeson.
Man I wish I could get my hands on more of the stainless GECs. I just am not a huge fan of patina on blades (I still use and sharpen mine, don’t worry), but there are just not enough 440C GECs!
Love the collection and the video Rob...That burlwood Sebenza is an awesome representation of the power of the gospel.
Super collection, Rob.
Amazing
Thank you for sharing, Rob. Each knife is exquisite in its own way, none moreso than the hand delivered Rendezvous.
Cant believe the crew sent you that stag rendezvous knife! The BEST people.

There used to be many more, but apparently there are other hobbies that cost money 😉
My 44 in Gabon Ebony has the triple P etch on the pile side instead, contrary to everyone else's it seems! I dig it!
