I really need to learn how to get the best tension. My sweet spot? I struggle with making socks. Thank you for sharing. ❤

I get so excited when I see that you’ve uploaded another cranking video!! You’ve been in my craft room on the screen for many a project, and I thank you for sharing your knowledge. Your Socktober series was wonderful - I hope you do something similar in the future. It made such a difference when I was a rank beginner and really struggling.

I would love to do another socktober series. But I would also like to try and be more consistent with posting cranking videos through the month/year. I am glad it helped you. That is my main goal, to just help. It can feel like a struggle when we are home and no one else has a machine right by your side. So many of us aren't going to have a close friend who also lives 10 mins away. 😊

I am so glad it was helpful. Sometimes when explaining something I get caught up in my own thoughts

That's what makes the video's so good. It's real life and shows you're passion to the craft. And emphasizes what you say about practice or trial and error.
It was all very clear and visable. Tension is perfectly explained and visualised. ❤️❤️❤️❤️💯💯💯

A couple questions from a newbie. Am I correct in assuming that you would include a ravel cord to remove it from the bonnet and you would frog it after you determine your tension? Thanks for walking us through these steps!

When I do a tension swatch. I use the bonnet and then go straight into using the yarn is am swatching. I can unravel it right back onto the cone. I don't cut my yarn just take it from the carrier and crank off. The tube is still attached to the cone and I can just re cone the swatch. I hope that makes sense.

OMGosh. I cringed so hard when you made those stitches so tight.
