Wow ! I remember most of these guys when I was a kid, especially Bob Andrews at Cradley Heath. Pity the home of The Heathens at Dudley Wood was sold off...what happened to Bernt Persson, Mike Gardner, Bob Andrews, Chris Bass, Roy Trigg, Graham Coombes, Ken Wakefield....a typical line up from 1969.....?

Hi - Does the full length version include any interviews / footage of 1978 when Malcolm Simmons and Gordon Kennett won for England in Poland, beating Denmark in a run off?

the riders should of revolted over the 6 man rider races , these times were the best times of speedway , the hey day as they call it , so many great riders involved in world pairs, and so many riders that deserved to be world champion that just didnt make it for one reason or other,
