- First and foremost, MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!! This year has been amazing for the channel, going from 0 to over 200 subs so fast is amazing! One of my videos has almost 20k views and counting. So, thank you for that. This video is waaaaaay longer than my other videos because it is an overview of all the changes I made to the robot during the break so far. I know this video won't perform as well as my other, shorter videos simply because of how long it is, but the people who watch this will hopefully be inspired by the unique way we approached the problems mentioned in the video. If you read all of this, a sub would be amazing. This will probably be my last video this year, so bye 👋
At 5:19 I meant to say Gen 2, not Gen 1.
Love it!! Making a unique design of your own
Glad you like it!
This is a really nice robot. It’s very unique compared to the average seAsaw design. The new storage mech is genius. Good luck for the rest of the challenge!
Thank you for the kind words 😁
4:10 love how he clarifies that it’s on both sides not just one
Lmao
Love the seesaw moving guard rails design. Definitely gonna implement it on my seesaw!
Thanks!
very nice, but my only concern with the design for the flywheel is how the rubberbands get worn out very quickly and that can affect were and how your pucks get shot. just make sure to change them out every once and a while
Thanks for the comment. This is definitely true (we learned this the hard way, lol).
there is actually a seesaw attachment mechanism to help hold blue and yellow, we made it with rubber bands and some standoffs, no mote
Hey bro... first of all love the content.. robot looking 🔥. Just wanted to know about motoring as in how do you motor your robot?
2 motor drivetrain
1 motor flywheel
1 motor seesaw
1 motor blue dispenser arm
1 motor storage arms
Great video but where did you get the rubber bands and what brand should I get if I want to use them
We got the bands from the Official Vex Robotics store
That is so cool man
Thanks!
the blue dispenser axle looks bent
Just checked, it doesn't seem to be bent. Might just be some weird camera angle or lighting issues.
What gear do you use for your blue mech
What do you use the guar rails for?
The guard rails prevent disks from falling out of the sides of the seesaw, and the reason they retract is so we can get the yellow dispenser.
@@DrumrollPlease Ooh smart. Great work!
@@DrumrollPlease How dont these use up a motor?
@@jjwhite9307 We made them able to slide by themselves, so when we tip the seesaw forward to shoot, they retract, and when we fling the seesaw back, they extend. Basically, gravity is doing the work for us.
How do you make the scissor you have passive
can u send Intermittent to bulid the robot
No, we do not have instructions for this robot as it violates the student-centered policy Vex has in place. Please make your own robot and use this one as inspiration.
u dont have anything to help me
to make my new robot
