Well that was a mysterious selection, good one Mrs.Kevy👌 Your are right about razors though we tend to use better known ones, even the cheap Chinese ones I tend to go with something like Baili, our purchase choices are influenced by what we see other shavers using, mine certainly are, if I haven't seen it used I don't normally know about it. Great shave. This shave shows that we don’t have to use flashy expensive products every shave. I use a randomizer to choose a soap to use for the shave, so I don’t have to stand there for hours trying to come up with what to use. I tried the Asco blades before and they worked great for me. Speaking of blades, I got to try out the Wizamet, Schick and Gillette Wilkinson Sword blades in my recent shaves and they all worked well for me. I got more blades to try out for the next couple of weeks, so I’m not done yet. Have a good one!

I looked at the link in description for the Shyne razor. Base plate in the picture is different than the base plate on the razor you're using in this video.

We don't need all of our soaps, razors and blades, but life would be very boring using the same stuff for every shave. That's my excuse anyway.

Thnx to Mrs.Kevy for the Challenge. You & I started our wet-shaving journey @ nearly the same time. I still remember your 1st videoed shave, you got zinged pretty well a mirors image of myself.🙃Gave me the go to keep on & not going back to them miserable scrapers of the past.Ya known I put down my shieck injector in 1970. That’s when I thought the Army would have a better way to shave & I was wrong. They used the stinking single blade plastic throw away. Oh well thanks for the memories 😊

I have used WSP soaps and I do love the scents, but they do not work well for me. They are not slick enough. I think that the water here is the issue. I remember using the soap in a different place and had no issue with it like I do here. I find that PAA soaps work best here. I will have my wife pick out the stuff for my next shave if I can get her to stop rolling her eyes…
