This blast from the past was fun to watch! I work on Murdoch Mysteries and have known Tommy for many years..."one of the lads" and always will be! A funny sweet guy (we have an adversarial running joke between us) and a pleasure to know and work with. We shoot season 14 starting next spring.
Grew up watching this guy in Where the Heart Is in late 90s, early 2000s and then obviously in Coronation Street between 2002-2005. I actually saw him once at a football game, just strikes me as a normal bloke and that comes across here. Fair play to him, and I'm also glad to know that his accent is real, half expected him to talk like a luvvie!
I remember the UK miner's strike in the 80s,it was like a badge of honour to go to school and proudly announce your dad, uncle or any male relative had been arrested on the picket line or in an incident with police. Sentiments are so strong that forty years later I have relatives and know men who refuse to acknowledge some men, they crossed the picket line to go to work are were named 'scabs' the fact that children were hungry just didn't cross their mind. As a child I could see the injustice but men now in their sixties can't. There were places that served and gave them food, cottage industries sprung up, one uncle crocheted, people's family and friends who weren't miners helped out. What people weren't doing was complaining that the government didn't give them enough money without ever working, while saying that they can't feed their kids, but having a fancy hair day, nails done, flash dog, £60+a month phone bill. The full monty film was set then, quite amusing :) the miners didn't stay home idle, of course some will have, they were out gathering wood or getting coal 'coal picking' from the sources of natural coal in the area and of course being on the picket lines. My own household didn't have miners, but my extended family did, we also had a gas fire, but I was free labour so was taken to find coal and wood lol. An interesting, but brutal time of my childhood. Maybe seeing that first hand made me work as a trade unionist. Or as workmates called me 'a gobshite' who, if I saw an injustice I was in their whether they were in my union, a different one or none at all :)
Lucky to be from Yorkshire, so I don't need translations lol, most of it is everyday language. For those of you who are interested in he also had a part in Where the hear is, set in the sixties if I remember correctly. After finding this series it now adds up as to why he was on UK TV much
I am from california usa.I love him and iam still watching WHERE THE HEART IS with Sarah L. They are good together.I stop watching the series when Ruth moved to Australia.I love Simon and Ruth.
Tommy is an absolute top guy, always has been, we served our plumbing apprenticeships together in Sheffield, am so pleased he is doing so well!!

Great actor! I've never heard of Thomas Craig until I saw him play *Thomas Brackenreid* from *"Murdoch Mysteries."*
Lucky to be from Yorkshire, so I don't need translations lol, most of it is everyday language. For those of you who are interested in he also had a part in Where the hear is, set in the sixties if I remember correctly. After finding this series it now adds up as to why he was on UK TV much
Having watched "Murdoch Mysteries", this confirms that what I hear in the show is really his native accent.
Love this dude from Corrie!
Thomas Craig is amazing. I am a huge fan and follower. Upsest with Murdoch Mysteries and Inspector Brackenreid. God love you..
He also did a nice spot on The Bill @ the Advanced Driving Course for Area car drivers.
Just realized a much younger Thomas Craig was in Lisa Stanfield's "All Woman" video. He was a cutey back then.
If this man is not allowed to immigrate the governement needs a good swift kick in the arse. Well okay another one!

He looks better with the mustache!!!
Unlike Brackenried Thomas was Clean Shaven without a Mustache
I miss the mustache but love the guy just the same.
Insightful interview but this cat Stromboliacropolis is a major face-talker. Fuckin creepy.
When You Was In Corrie it Was The Best and When Charlie Stubbs and Shelley Unwin and Ryan Thomas and Bill Ward and Sally Lindsay
Such a charming handsome man!
HE'S ADORABLE
Gotta love Brackenreid!
❤️ Brackenreid!
Love this guy
I love this guy! lol
