Once again I think you are a genius! I would never have thought of doing this in a video, or how to do this in a video. But after watching you show how to do it and seeing how cool the affect is, I'm going to have to try it at least once. I can't tell you how much I appreciate what you do and how you do it. You are the best and I only hope Movavi pays you for it because you are way better than the people I see working for Movavi showing how to use the platform. They are too fast and confusing and hard to understand. Keep up the great videos. :)
You are so kind😀Thank you so much for your support, its mean a lot!! & I'm so glad that you are enjoying my videos! How is your new UA-cam channel coming along?
@@fawnmyra Hey Fawn, my youtube channel is on hold right now. My channel is going to be about my backpack, hiking and traveling adventures and as of Dec. 1st. I am officially 1 year away from retiring from 40 years as a park ranger so I have been spending all my time selling all the stuff I don't want in my life anymore because in a year me and my wife will be traveling and living in our fifth wheel for about 3 years looking for a good place to retire. I will be filming all the hiking, backpacking and traveling we do so right now I don't have much content to work with, but I will and everything I learn from you is going to help me make a awesome channel. I do practice the stuff I learn from you with old footage but it's not something I would post because it's just practice clips with no real structure. But I'm stoked that you remembered that I am starting a channel. I have a few hiking trips in the works when the weather warms up a bit and I plan to post those so I will let you know when I do so you can check them out. Talk to you soon and thanks for responding.
40 years! Wow, I'll bet you've got some great stories. A few years adventuring around in a fifth wheel sounds like a blast and a fantastic way to kick off your retirement! Thanks for sharing, and I look forward to seeing your upcoming videos!😀
You are absolutely amazing!!!! Very cool - owned and been using Movavi for 2 plus years now and you have showed me so much in just a few days. Thank you!!!
Glad I stumbled onto your channel and subscribed. You posted a reply to a Movavi question on FB and that’s how I found your channel. Keep up the excellent work. I’m looking forward to learning a bunch of stuff here.
Wow... I had no idea I could do stuff like this in movavi! I'm a music producer just learning the basics about video editing. All of my resources went to get my PC as effective as possible for audio, so I got a really cheap video card, therefore softwares like Da Vinci won't even open if I install them... Thank you so much for all the amazing tips and tutorials!
@@fawnmyra I still have a question, would it be possible to modify the height of the sound or video tracks, we can already lengthen it but the height is it possible? And when working on multitracks can we color code the cuts in order to find our way through time? Sorry for my English but I also use the translator ...
That translated nicely, as I can understand the questions perfectly.👍 Unfortunately I have not seen either of those options available, at least not on Movavi 2021. Movavi 2022 version might have added those features, but I'm not able to confirm that because I no longer use that version.😕 Sorry that I don't have a better answer, but I'll be sure to reach out and let you know if I find a way. 😉
This is a great tip and thank you. I am trying to do this for zooming through a screen on a video that then goes onto play another video. Can the same apply to this? Thanks

Awesome tutorials Fawn, much appreciated. I have watched them all and I have learned so much. Could you possibly do a tutorial to help me edit/lip sync music videos as I can spend hours trying to lip sync a music clip that might only be a few seconds or a few minutes long. I know how to change the speed to enable me to do this BUT I must be doing something wrong taking such long periods of time to edit a clip a few seconds long. Many thanks DJ Stevie.
Great content! But, is there a way to zoom in on my audio waveform? It's impossible to edit my videos 😇. I really want to cut here and there and that scale thing from bottom left just doesn't zoom in 🤣 it's more like widening the timeline. Thank you very much for this great content.
Hey thanks! So with the audio, I totally know what you mean. Sometimes when I zoom in, it almost makes it harder to edit😅 at least visually. Here's a possible solution for you though, I've done this before... If you select the audio clips you need and turn up the volume a bit, maybe somewhere between 250-400%, then export that audio by itself, after that bring it right back into your project and place it directly above or below your original audio clip. Now with your new clip you'll have larger easier to see, waveforms. You can use this new audio clip and once edits are complete lower the volume to what you like... or synchronize the 2 audio clips so that you can edit both at the same time. If editing both at the same time, you'll then be able to use the "big waveform" audio track simply as a reference and once finished then you can delete it out and keep your original audio😉. Hope this helps!✌
When zooming through a video clip, you'll need to have it placed above another clip in a video overlay track. This way once you have zoomed through it, you'll see the next clip in the track below. Hope this helps!
If you're referring to vertical video, you can yes. Just change your project aspect ratio to 9:16. Then your zoom will be in vertical format instead of landscape!
Yeah, but it wouldn't look very good. Think if your viewer is watching on the phone in vertical and then all of the sudden you change the aspect ration midway through the video they will see black bars on top and bottom of video🙃
I love your videos. You always learn something new. However, sometimes you gallop through the steps. I set the video to 0.75 times the speed (which unfortunately makes you sound like a man) and still had to stop and go back in between. Maybe a little less rushed next time. Thanks
By design, I keep my videos quick and to the point. Sorry if they are faster than you prefer. Im happy to hear that you are still able to learn something from them!😃

Lip sync.. interesting idea!
I'll see if I can work this into a future video. Thanks!
I lip sync by making a separate video, kill the volume and add it to the timeline.
🤩 It will give a great and a different look to my video ..
Right! That’s exactly what I love about this effect!!

Does it have to be a square or rectangle?
No, you can use other shapes too! I just happened to use rectangle for that example.
Kindly also share how to create a video of old memories time line using pictures only.. same like I see in other editors.
That’s definitely a great idea, I’ll add it to the list😃

what should be the video position?

When zooming through a video clip, you'll need to have it placed above another clip in a video overlay track. This way once you have zoomed through it, you'll see the next clip in the track below. Hope this helps!
