Seiyuus:
Green: Moeka Koizumi/Pippi (voice of Shioriko Mifune)
Pink: Akina Homoto/Minmin/Homin (voice of Lanzhu Zhong)
Grey: Shuu Uchida/Shushu (voice of Mia Taylor)
im convinced no one here is reading this comment so. let me answer comments i keep getting.
1: shuu uchida is the girl who speaks english, she grew up in Australia which is why she speaks english so fluently.
2: she also knew exactly what she was saying, but the others didn't. she got the official translation because she didn't want to translate it wrong despite being bilingual.
3: they're apart of a group called Nijigasaki High School Idol Club! please look them up if ur interested!
4: girl who dabs at the end is sally amaki look her up as well shes also an idol!
That makes sense now
Without context i was like:
How someone can speak so good English and still need a translation to understand?
@@Elinzar the same way we sing entire anime songs and have no idea what they mean (without subtitles that is)
Isn't she's joey childhood friends? She's on trash taste 3 months ago
@@giratius9307 yeah she is
@@TacynMegan With the difference you don't pronounce the lyrics properly lol, she does
"date"
Japanese: wtf are you saying I can't understand
"date-o"
Japanese: omg why didn't you just say that in the first place
Date = Date-o
Death = deth-o
So yeah basically Date is Killing you
@@keriper3018 Except that those 2 words are not even remotely similar. Dayt (Date) and Deff (Death)
Speaking in katakana
@@iamthinking2252_ In katana one is deeto (a long e, not 2 e's) and the other is desu, not similar at all
@@RexusprimeIX yeah nah, it would be "dee-to" and "desu" respectively
Shuchan speaking English is always so satisfying
Watch Trash Taste Podcast she’s a guest, 2 whole hours of Shu in her natural Aussie accent
@@DEEZ_N4T or go to her youtube channel instead. She uploads often.
Both, Both is good
@@jinjinjinrou both, is definitely the best option
True, it's such a bliss in the ears
To be honest, i don't know who they are, but just like any other person watching for the first time, to hear an English sentence spoken by a Japanese girl with some Australian accent caught me off guard
she’s a voice actress called shuu uchida! she grew up in australia, hence the aussie accent
Shuu was also on an episode of Trash Traste
A lot of Japanese people that are fluent in English tend to have lived abroad at some point, Australia and New Zealand are very popular places to study abroad. And those places have pretty heavy and unique accents. Its weird but also makes a lot of sense.
@@__aceofspades plus she grew up in Australia
@@BooleanDev So that's why I got recommended this
Homin's Oh my God sounds perfect! and Moepi's English pronunciation isn't bad either. R3BIRTH english is stronk.
homins “oh my god” was actually the reason i posted this
Homin & ShuShu can bullying Moepii in english and Chinese
😁😁😁
0:58
Omae gaaaaaa
Homin's Oh my god sounds really similar to Ainya's imo
*Shuu speaking English*
Moepii and MinMin: 🤨
*MinMin speaking Chinese*
Moepii and Shuu: 🤨
poor moepii is always confused lol
*Moepii speaking Japanese*
MinMin and Shuu: 😁
Me (Australian): *TAKES A SIP OF BEER*
Shuu: *SPEAKS WITH THICK AUSTRALIAN ACCENT*
Me (spit-taking): "CRIKEY!"
Yes
Where is this australian accent its sounds like normal english to me.
@@baltulielkungsgunarsmiezis9714 listen to her "okay", "call", and "date"
@@ghivifahmi4252 Completely normal english, nothing out of the ordinary.
@@baltulielkungsgunarsmiezis9714 definitely Australian...
Each and every country that speaks English have different accent to them
Their reaction is absolutely adorable!!! I love it when Shu-chan speaks English and the rest of the girls are like huh, their reactions are too adorable!!!
_Date_
"Hold on, let me put this into Google Translate"
_Date_
*Surprised Pikachu Face*
"Date"
What is this foreign language you are speaking?
"Deito"
Understandable, have a nice day(to)
You can hear the aussie in her voice
The Australian accent omg
I love your username
@@kelsss9495 thats not japanese accent at all
ayumus onions here, as someone who’s first language is japanese and second is english, shuu definitely has an english/australian accent. she’s confirmed she grew up speaking english and learnt japanese later on because her parents wanted her to.
@@ayumusonions Shuu goes more in deep when talking about this on a Trash Taste episode about her upbringing, family and her decision to be a seiyuu despite having to study Japanese while on Japan.
It's super prominent when she says "Don'chya think?"
Meanwhile a certain clown: "how do you say **retsu go** in english?'
Polmao
A certain phoenix: "Isn't it **'Let's go'?**
@@sk407 EHHHHHHHHH
I feel like Shu and Sally have radically warped my perception of seiyuu speaking English. Like, I have to remind myself that native Japanese speakers won't speak fluent English.
The irony here, of course, is that they're both immigrants in this situation.
What about Karin Kagami
George Japan:
I would love to see a Sally x Shu collab in English.
Who’s sally
@@dangerousgrace7478 sally amaki, she's another jp seiyuu who is also a fluent english speaker!
"A date" is referring to a planned meeting important enough that you set a date. It means 'a romantic get together'.
would've never guessed
Really? Who woulda thunk
true
A date is more commonly used to describe a meet up or a meeting. I have a date with the dentist means I have an appointment with the dentist. I’m guessing the Japanese translated it to dating. I’m going out on a date with a girl would be the romantic meaning.
moepi and minmin giving the best reaction, minmin and moepi english pronunciation is quite smooth though, they are going international, haha
"I have surrounded by amazing people.." - Moepi, September 21, 2021
Shu and Minmin: MR WORLDWIDE
I love how they were genuinely squealing from the date part xD me too!
Man that aussie accent. Picked it up straight away. She says "don't you think" as "don'tcha think" like any of us aussies do. Had to have grown up here.
Wow Uchida Shuu's english is so wonderful!
I always love her english after her Warspite (Kantai Collection)
"I have no idea who any of these people are why did youtube recommend this to me?"
**sally dabbing**
"Ah."
If you know her backstory via Trash Taste podcast or somewhere else, you’d realize what a gigachad Shuu is
Essentially she wanted to pursue voice acting so bad that she worked instead of studying in college and when she raised enough money to move to Japan she told her parents only at the last minute so they couldn’t do anything about it. Her parents didn’t like that all and even refused to sign a document for her to live alone in her apartment in Japan since adult age in Japan is 20 and she was 19 at the time, so she temporarily bunked at a friend’s place for a while
Sad
That level of commitment of hers is something I strive to have
What an icon
Which ep of trash test
I like to imagine this is the R3BIRTH interactions we aren't allowed to see in game
Boy that's some crisp English pronunciation right there, if I didn't look at the screen I wouldn't know she was Japanese.
Isn't she's half Australian
no she’s fully japanese
If you grow up in Australia you're Australian, imo, even if your parents are Japanese.
@@foottoast4235 True, where you're born doesn't affect genetics all that much since that's just parents, but where you grow up affects your moral and cultural sensibilities. All things can adapt though.
I'm sorry all these comments are unnecessarily complicated. Shu Uchida grew up in Australia. She moved to Japan when she was old enough to pursue voice acting.
Thats me when I hear a japanese word im familiar with in a sentence that I don't understand.
"ohayou" yes yes.. "ohayou" (barely understands the statement)
IDK what this is or why i got recommended to this but thats possibly the most flawless english i have ever heard.
Moepii and Homin's reaction when they learn the translation of Mia's song is just precious.
I can hear Shuu's Australian accent :O
Waiting for a sequel video entitled:
Two members of R3BIRTH find out what 5201314 means in chinese
Japanese word for “date”: “dēto”
English person: “date”
Japanese person: “……..I don’t follow.”
English person: “umm…..”dēto??”
Japanese person: “EHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! DĒTO!!!!!!!”
Note: this is all in good fun, I mean no harm with this comment, I just think it’s funny how close the two words are in pronunciation and sound yet, there still a disconnect.
0:50 the eyes just get to you
Date ❌
Dee to ✅
I love this seiyuu group already 🤣
Min min saying oh my god was SO ADORABLE!!!
dat "Oh my god" frm MinMin is 💯💕👌
Both shu and sally are English goddesses
Karin too
"Wait, we've been using a loan word all this time!?" So many of them too, looking at you pantsu.
"A Date!?!?" *NARUHODOOOO*
Now Shuu please explain the 'A little lower, uhh right there' in the 2nd verse 😂
0:58 oh my God!!
Dat gay.
0:30 Was my reaction the first time I stopped jamming out to the song and actually paying attention to the lyrics
I can hear in my head a character stuttering the word. ddddeto.
Homin : oh my god~
Me : *ptsd from Mari and her mother
That Sally part in the end thoo!! ❤
Ah, yes, Sally Amaki. Resident meme-lord on Twitter, and point of contact between meme-culture and her fellow idols.
I shouldn't be so surprised that she appears to dab on us at the end of this vid.
A love live translator still alive!
I like that her accent has an Australian tinge to it.
0:21 The sound the lady on the right makes is so cute, reminds me of those toy hammers that would make sounds when you hit it.
Just hearing her speak in English like that
Blew me away
Why is Minmin so cute bro
I like how your videos ends with Tenchan dabbing.
The pronunciation is insanely good.
I love Shu and Homin
0:46 TOY DOLL
*A DATE*
Oh my god, she sounds Australian but not bogan or grating at all, it's like... *pleasant Australian*
I can’t with Moepii’s English😂😂😂
*sips tea while lurking around looking for any sign of Trash Taste viewers*
OOH STRONG HOT
What does that mean?
Me whenever Mari speaks English with her accent.
Moeppi the people lover lol
So I can date her? I'm people.
This is gold...
THANKS!!!
Whoa it's the voice actress from the Trash Taste Podcast!
I randomly came across this vid. why are they so joyous about the date bit? I'm probably missing some context.
I LOVE it when Shu-chan speaks English
Minmin’s Oh my God though. 👌
Looks like Yuka Jennifer Sasago app are not working huh, Moepi
"date" = no understand; "dateo" = understand
A funny thing I just realized
Shuu was featured on Trash Taste Podcast (A Channel with Hosts: Joey: The Anime man
Garnt: The Anime Zone
Conner: CDawgVA
Always funny when they can speak it properly as a borrowed word in japanese, even knew the meaning, but then gets surprised to learn that it has the same meaning in english. When the borrowed term is too ingrained in daily use that you didnt even realise it was foreign.
That's as 'strayan as you can get!
I clicked on this video and expecting them to say things in broken english but nope, one of the girls actually spoke really fluent english wtf.
Definitely an Aussie accent right there mate
Japanese Girls covering their mouths when they laugh is icing on a cake
I have no idea what the context of this is, but that was definitely an unexpected confidence boost.
I love the sally clip xD aparently she listens to LL too!
Leah please teach Shioriko English 😂
their english is scary good
I’d take R3BIRTH on a date
Who wouldn't?
Dokodokodokodokodoko
Date = I don't know that word
Deeto= AH NARUHODO!!
This is the first I'm hearing about I'm Still's full version coming out and I'm like aaaa
this isnt im still! its another mia song called toy doll
@@ayumusonions I'm talking about the promo at the end for the new single lol
Trash Taste brought me here
Actually no it was on my reccomended vut since Shuu got featured on Trash Taste I rest me case
Love the aussie accent
I need context for that outro LMAO
Toy Doll gives me such classic Hannah Montana vibes,
hey aussie accent 💕 i love it
*Hears "date"*
Japanese people: I sleep
*Hears "de-to"*
Japanese people: *REAL SHIT*
tfw you watch so many idol vtubers you get recommended actual idols
Her Australian accent is mesmerizing holy shit
English is really good.
Nice question for Chad who sent it
I've been digging videos of Makima's VA from Chainsawman and keep getting interesting other unrelated videos and now I'm here😂. Don't know anyone in this but the red armband girl seems like my chocolate🤎. Thank you for this nice clip!
0:00 - 0:07 Uwa, suge.... eigo jouzu !!
Oh, it's Uchida Shuu , no wonder. She is full on pera pera. PERA PERA.
Oh yeah, wasn't Shuu in Trash Taste Podcast?
I love the part where they said “A Date!”
Ive seen many things in life
A japanese girl with a slight Australian accent is certainly something I never thought i'd live to see
😮A DATE
The way they acted is actually what I'd expect highschoolers would act when a handsome and famous dude of the school asks them on a date.
And her English though. She has a noticeable yet mild English (that's convenient) accent
wow her english speaking voice is fantastic
Moepi's face lmao
pretty much her face in most situations, considering the other 2 in the group...
Her English is shockingly impressive
It is also a fruit that hardly anyone eats anymore.
