Bro how do you live with a 7 after using a 12 the 7 does not even get iOS support anymore and the screen size is smaller with much less GPU/CPU power don't even get started about the camera's.

i literally bought it to learn how to use new software and i am happy cause its smooth its minimalistic small i dont have wery bug hands so yeah its still good with good battery

They're really cheap now and if you want a phone as opposed to a media-focused mini-tablet as most seem to be right now it's ideal. Spend a bit of time and you can get a really nice one still for peanuts. Great as a travel phone as old or not it's still a quality piece of kit and not worht enough to get stolen or get you attracting unwanted attention . Having said that iPhone 8's are only maybe 10% more expensive right now and in the UK at least SE 2020's often the same price as an 8 for some reason and with a much better camera.

It is actually till 256GB. I am using the 128GB Model. It is pretty decent. But, the phone dies if it is kept on, while we goto sleep. Hence, I switch it off.

i have iphone 7 apple a10 fusion chipset 2gb of ram still good for games except 2 problems overheating and battery sucks i might get a new iphone 7 with like 256gb becoz my iphone 7 is 4 years old and it has 32gb
ive got the same problem with my 7 seems to be happening to alot of them, Im probably going to replace my battery but in saying that, I could probably pick up a second hand 7 for the same amount as a battery haha.

@@JinnyTvv Most shops here in the Middle East had stocked up so many phones. So I happen to go in the shop looking for iPhone 14 pro then I fell in love with the 7 so ended up getting two phones 😜.

Should you buy an iPhone 7 in 2023? I’m using mine right now. I would say yes but only if you’re willing to spend what you would spend on an entry level phone now. Like 100 bucks or less. Otherwise get a newer iPhone, like an X or 11, or a mid-level android phone.

The 7 is still a good phone. But I’d choose the 6s over the 7 in a heartbeat.
Not anymore. Especially with no more major iOS version updates. I'm not even sure if the "regular" iPhone 8 will get support due to only having 2 GB of RAM with iOS 17; the iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X may get iOS 17 because of 3 GB of RAM on both phones.
The iPhone 7 is the best iPhone ever but it doesn’t have iOS 16
yeah still a great phone! Shame about 16 ~ In saying that you can always get jailbreak tweaks to copy the iOS 16 features.
There are iPads with the same chip and specs as the 6s that got ios 16. The iPhone 7 not getting iOS 16 was unacceptable in my opinion.
On the good side, it can still be put on a carrier and will get iOS updates for a few more years.
It will still get iOS 15 security updates for a few years. The iPhone 7 is still a capable phone. Apple probably just dropped support for it to get you to upgrade. Still got my 7.

I didn’t get rid of mine even though I upgraded to newer iPhones. Sometimes I use it on WiFi and it’s still not bad, except for the matte black changing navy blue in some areas.
downgrading from a newer iPhone must be quite difficult, you will definitely notice the slowness and the decreasing battery of the 7

That’s 100% accurate. That’s because Apple want them to slow down and the operating systems on them are meant to push us off our older devices.

I bought two iPhone 7s a year ago The first one I was using a hoverboard at night at my friend's and was using my iPhone as a flashlight I fell in bent the iPhone in half The second one I got the SIM card chip went out in it

@@janstankovic-ww4ks battery is not as good as the later iphone iteration (xs and later). it only last for less than 8 hours for full use in 80% battery life.

no ios updates but if you are fine without that then I cant see a problem.I just got a phone I got the iphone XR they are reasonably priced I think at around £230 second hand got mine from amazon .I think they were about £700 when they came out.They have updates for the next few years
yeah I reviewed the Xr in 2023 about a month ago.. Still performs well imo
