New York Central Car Move

For the MTA Metro-North Railroad Employee Holiday Train in 2024, three New York Central cars on loan from the United Railroad Historical Society of New Jersey (URHS) were used as part of the consist. On the night of Friday, December 27, 2024, the cars were brought to the New Rochelle, New York Station by Metro-North's PMMO (PM Mott Haven switcher) and handed off to Amtrak KN717 to be returned to the URHS. The cars have since been transported to the URHS's Boonton Yard.
