I miss cabooses on trains. IMHO, the sensors that 'replaced' them aren't adequate. Cabooses provided a set of human eyes at the end of each train. I loved counting the locomotives and then waving at the crews on the cabooses, signaling the end/rear of each train.

What day does the Metro North holiday train run?

North America needs more investment in trains and not less. We need to correct the second half of the 20th Century, I think. And I love those NYC cars and paint scheme on the P32!

More than anything I want to see this incredible rail line continue service for the foreseeable future.
