Super nice! You should never have to apologize for cropping or cloning, you are the artist and they are your photographs. It boils down too are you making art or making a historical record.
It's a ton of fun. Except video. I tried filming them zooming around and I just couldn't do it. In my bobolink video I have like a split second slow motion clip of one and that's after trying for a whole evening!
@@RyanMenseWildlife I just picked up the 200-600, using the a7iii.. very excited as I live in a very special natural landscape, the west Kootenays of british columbia.. maybe you'll find your way over here one day :)
While I owned the a7R IV I also had the a7R III. When I decided I'd like to get an a9 since having two R models is a little redundant, I went back to the a7R III to see if it still was totally capable after being used to the R IV. I made a video from that experience and ultimately decided to sell the R IV for the a9. Then in the fall I reviewed the FS5 II and was interested in doing more video, so I sold the a9 to get an FS5. Right now I have the a7R III for stills and FS5 for video. Busy year, I guess!
Thank you for the video..... I’m planning to purchase my very first DSLR - Nikon D750 with (85mm 1.8 + 50mm 1.8 G lens). I’m wondering is it still worth to buy this camera considering 5 years old?. Purpose of buying a camera is for taking Portraits, Still, Landscape, Bird, Product photography (learning) and of course my kids. It would be really great if you throw some lights on my concern to make a wise decision.... other options I have considered is Nikon D780 with one of the lens and Z6ii with the kit lens... Thank you and looking forward to your recommendation.
Hey, I really don’t have any experience with most of that gear so I might not be the best person to ask. I used to own that 85mm 1.8 G when I had Nikon but that’s about it.
Beautiful pictures. Thanks for sharing them, the stories behind them, and the before and after. That is super helpful.
I love your passion for birds man!
Enjoyed your bird pictures, just wished you would have shown your setting for each photo. I' m a beginner so it would be useful to learn.

That's awesome! Thanks for watching. Let me know if there's something you want me to cover in a video while you're learning.
I love this video! Never seen anything like it before. My fav photos were the sedge wren and the northern harriers!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful shots Ryan! Glad to see you're still using the elfin foundry mode dial cap.
For-ev-er
Great photos particularly like the small birds in flight always difficult to get! Great year Ryan looking forward to 2021👃👃😍
Happy new year! Thanks!
Getting those Barn Swallows are sweet. I know exactly what you mean as far as capturing them as they zoom around!

Your photos are incredible!
Glad you like them!
Do you not shoot with a7r4 anymore ? Is it because of the issues going on with the 200-600mm ? I read your article at fstopper .
Amazing photos!
