JAWS TNT Roy Scheider pt 2 re-edited

- This goes all the way back to 1997 when Michael Koepenick edited these TNT movie stunt interstitials for "The New Classics on TNT" with writer/producer M.A. Glenn. Roy Scheider gives us lots of fun behind the scenes info on the making of Jaws and working with director Steven Spielberg and actor Richard Dreyfuss. This clip shows the rest of the pieces used to get in and out of the movie. Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water...
This edit was just a stack reel of the promos we did at commercial breaks, but due to an outpouring of comments about too many logos and breaks we edited most of them out now. It was done in the UA-cam Editor, which has it's quirks (like no previews), but got the job done. Hope this new version is more tolerable. Thanks for watching! - Розваги
R.I.P. Roy a great Actor, nobody else could have played Brody as good as Roy. " i can do anything i want im the Chief of Police" ...
Rip Roy Scheider. Great actor. Jaws is one of my all time favorite movies.🦈 thanks for posting this.
I like how Roy refer's to Steven as Mr Spielberg! such respect, great man RIP
kudos to Roy! always one of my favorite actors.....RIP, sir.
What a sweet man always wanted to meet him but too late he was my favorite person in jaws
I absolutely love this movie! Roy was great in this!
That's some bad hat Harry. 🤣😂🤣😂 RIP Roy Schieder. Aka Chief Martin Brody.
Not funny idiot
The shot of the camera zooming into chief brody is pure hitchcock. You can feel his shock through the screen.
Excellent director, excellent actors, outstanding chemistry among the three main characters, fabulous soundtrack, a faulty mechanical, maniacal demon, deeply rooted fear of dark water and its invisible megafauna, a great story connecting all that - and two passing-by UFOs.
I was on MV about 20 years ago and went to Menemsha and was taken over to the 'Orca' which was sandbanked. I was taken over on the little bike ferry by a kind operator. Couldn't see much of it though it was slowly sinking beneath the sand over the years. Just remember being eaten alive by horse flies! Treasured memories from England.
And now back to Roy Scheider for the 10th time......
These were created as commercial breaks during the movie.
@@onetrueslave I finally figured out how to edit the video in the UA-cam editor. The new version is now being processed. Sorry for the headaches of repetition in the tags. Should be much better now.
Who played the girl who shouts out: "...shh....shark....the shark...." Great scene. She makes that scene. I hope she got properly credited.
Schneider was almost too good in this movie. In a lot of ways he was typecast as Chief Brody and it negatively effected his career. He was a brilliant actor in my opinion.
All of them.
@@LeroyKinkade agreed. But to be fair, Robert Shaw was the best actor at the time the movie was made. He’d done many significant films prior to Jaws and had already written several novels, plays, and screenplays. Was a rugby player in London, was an expert swordsman, and had 10 children. He also had a farm in Ireland. He admitted he did not get along with Dreyfus during filming. Robert Shaw WAS the character he played-rough, seasoned, cantankerous, etc.
Many of his lines in Jaws were improvised by him on the spot. He was arguably the most talented actor at the time it was filmed.
He’d acted with some of the greatest of all time and did not mesh well with Dreyfus’s extroverted and at times elitist attitude on set. Ironically his disliking of Dreyfus off set worked perfectly on set. His character’s arrogant dismissal of Richard’s as a city boy who spent his life “counting money” seemed so natural because he wasn’t acting in his disdain for him.
"FOREGROUND MY ASS!" Best line in the movie :)
"I need to get it in the foreground to give it some scale!!"
Thanks for posting this!
Awesome.
Too many Commercial breaks 😬😬

Awsome
He was addicted to sun bathing and was causing a lot of continuity errors. If you notice in the boat scene with Shaw and Dreyfus’s how brown he is. He was warned to tone it down and he said he would but didn’t. Loo
honestly that shark looks more authentic than a real shark. they just look like fake fish in general.
@John Cornell true
FYI, Guillotine Post is not a monetized channel. All of the ads are placed on here usually by the music publishers or movie owners. These JAWS videos were created to run between commercial breaks when it was broadcasted TNT. There is no longer JAWS documentary that we chopped into pieces just to add commercials and try to make money. It was all created for the network many years ago.
Was there ever a part 3?
No, sorry that's all there is. We cut these to fit in between the movie and the commercials when it aired on TNT. They only needed a certain number of them and I just posted it in 2 different parts. Glad you enjoyed it!
can you upload TNT promos and interstitials from 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001 please
+Sergio Patricio Figueroa Labraña I'll get some more of what I have up there, but it's kind of a slow process and I need down time to get it done. So be patient please. Thanks!
+Guillotine Post ok let me know and thanks for answering
