I mean the Greater New York area is home to something like 20 million people, so by sheer numbers there's bound to be a number of serial killers running around.
There is an epidemic of violence against and hatred toward women in this country and these murders need to be framed in that way. The fact that those departments don't have cold case units is evidence that the police departments do not view these murders as egregious and tragic.
Non factual statement. According to the FBI, 78% of homicide victims in America are Men. Women in America are one of the most protected peoples on the planet. Women have more rights than men and they have more Women specific (govt funded) assistance organizations (i.e., domestic violence victim support, homeless support, food support, housing assistance). Sometimes there is justice. My neighbor around the corner from me was arrested and convicted about three years ago for the rape and murder of a woman about 40 years ago. You would not have pegged him as someone capable of that. I guess his stature was part of the reason why he seemed harmless. He was only about five foot two and very skinny.
Yes! I hope they do the work and find all his victims before rushing him to a trial and conviction. These victims and families need justice and closure ❤
It's definitely more than one. Most men detest wmen, and they are allowed by other men to do these heinous acts. The "good" men get to parlay off of these bad ones that at least they aren't like them, but it's the same with racısts. Being quiet, allowing it to happen without real repercussions, is just as bad as those committing the acts. Men create and uphold their laws, and they purposely are lax when it comes to violence against wmen. Female prisoners went up 800% in the last couple of decades, and most of them are wmen who defended themselves against a violent man..
@knittylane3016 Women and girls are more than our relationships. Emphasizing our worth only in relation to others is demeaning. We have intrinsic value, like male human beings.
none of those girls were engineers, doctors lawyers, accountants scientist, none of that. What they were was fortunate that needed a certain amount of money on a daily basis, and the only way of getting that was to sell their bodies, not every single one of them, but most of them. No one spoke for them. They were on the bottom ladder of our societies .to their families they were daughters mothers sisters and they were loved they were needed and they were wanted and now they are sadly missed. If they were doctors, lawyers accountants, such as such everyone in the Continental United States would’ve known of their missing simple

Right? It is 100 murders in a fairly peaceful area. The amount of resources spent on Gabby Petitos murder (murder is murder). Why weren’t they murders investigated? It looks like an inside job, or someone the police didn’t want to charge.
To put this into perspective, predominantly BÌàck neighborhoods all over this country have extreme LE surveillance. I mean cameras everywhere. On the traffic lights, at the stop signs, in the residential area, taking up space in the grass, solar powered, hybrid powered, etc. These cameras remain untouched and untampered with despite everyone knowing who put them up and why. It's funny because the places this type of video surveillance is needed never seem to have it. The places where children and women go missing and are harmed the most strangely don't have that type of surveillance. The Rex Heuermann's of the world don't have that type of surveillance. Perhaps we're putting up all these cameras in the wrong neighborhoods.
You sad person. Predominantly black neighborhoods have black politicians running the city or town. Predominantly black cities have black mayors, black city councilors, black police chiefs and black school superintentends. But you still have to blame someone else.
I keep getting the impression that this is,maybe not all, but mostly connected. Gilgo Beach included, and it's been going on for a long time. Somewhere there are police involved, if not prosecutors, and there is a group working together. Time will tell. The light is coming.
FYI: when I was younger, my friends and I hung out on Long Island ALOT. There are a lot of open and very deserted places on Long Island, especially near those extended areas near the many beaches (like Jones and Gilgo). It was sooo creepy even in daylight if one missed the turning for the beach entrance. I understand there are actually cameras up now all along these stretches now but they were not there in the 80s and 90s when my friends and I went to the beaches and discos. I am sure Rex H plus a few others like him are to blame for a significant portion of these poor victims.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

If it was a truck driver he would probably be a local truck driver because of so many bodies found in the immediate area an interstate truck driver wouldn't continue to dump bodies in that small circle traveling state to state with a dead body in the back of his truck I mean nothing is impossible but I really feel like it's a cop whoever it is it's that person is right under their nose and knows exactly what's going on

Lots of targets. Lots of dumping grounds. How many were just dumped in the ocean? It’s like the PNW.
Yeah it is. Lived in NY,NJ,PA...WASHINGTON STATE, OREGON, AND NOW IDAHO. Femicide is real. We're all at risk. Many men hate women. Violence against women is subtley accepted. Men using women is common. Women will lose even more rights under trump'S anarchy. VOTE BLUE !!! VOTE FOR KAMALA!!!!!
Take a gander at Rochester’s colorful history of creating serial Killers. I can name 5 that was born, lived, or frequented Rochester at one point. Bianchi, Dahmer, Bundy, Shawcross, and the Double-initial serial killer.
To @basicallyno1722: It’s my guess that the killers are just DUMPING bodies in that area because they feel safe doing so. Word gets around hmmm?
I mean the Greater New York area is home to something like 20 million people, so by sheer numbers there's bound to be a number of serial killers running around.
There is an epidemic of violence against and hatred toward women in this country and these murders need to be framed in that way. The fact that those departments don't have cold case units is evidence that the police departments do not view these murders as egregious and tragic.
Rt! I remember only a few cases were made priority & it still took push fm loved ones for them to do their job
You mean the world! Child marriages (abuse), female genital mutilation (abuse), domestic violence in ither forms vpbeyond physical.
The fact that men are the perpetrators displays how much hate for us than we can know.
@@lindasimons691yes. 128 women out of 160 million in the US is proof of systemic woman hate! 😂😂😂 That is ridiculous. Grow up
Non factual statement. According to the FBI, 78% of homicide victims in America are Men. Women in America are one of the most protected peoples on the planet. Women have more rights than men and they have more Women specific (govt funded) assistance organizations (i.e., domestic violence victim support, homeless support, food support, housing assistance). Hell, I'm a disabled combat vet and American Women still get more benefits than me and male comrades of my ilk. Take that false narrative if 'American women are targeted in droves' somewhere else.
So sad glad you are highlighting this horrific situation.

This is heartbreaking and disturbing. With all of today's modern forensics, these cases should be solved. There are still 35 women unidentified which is unacceptable.
I'm sure they could've tried DNA matching through a criminal registry. These police ain't trying to solve a damn thing.
@@swannoir7949Yeah this is completely unacceptable like you said
Agree. They should make DNA testing cheaper and available automatically for all cold cases for genealogy identification and for suspects.
There's no reason for most to be unidentified. We have the power to give them names with genetic genealogy. It also shouldn't take a woman being a wife, mother, etc.. It should be because they are humans who deserve respect and justice.
Exactly.
right on ❤
Sounds like the "public" doesn't want to spend the money. However, it is not being sold to them as important either.
Exactly…with men it isn’t considered the role they play to another, just the fact they’re a person
If their family never submitted samples to genealogy sites how can they match a dead loved one DUH, it’s comical how people just think dna identifies people. YOU NEED SOMETHING TO COMPARE THE DEADS DNA TO. Stop with the stupid it’s annoying

If the victim were my child, that wouldn't feel like justice.
The Green River killer lived in my area, shopped at the local grocery. Very ordinary- looking.

They didn’t do a thorough investigation and he went on to continue raping and molesting those girls. The public is fucked if you need the FBI for anything.
May the families get the closures they need. Peace and Blessings to them all 🙌🏾
100 women, even over such a long time, is so extreme.
Men are doing this and no one wants to admit how dangerous they are.
women are danger to
Women are just as bad, we simply have a societal bias that makes us see women as "victims".
Find some fbi trainees for godsakes
lol they investigate what they want and the rest they can care less.
How many MEN have been found deceased outside on Long Island since 1976??? 🤔
Finally some intellectual activity on this thread. You want to look at the data, instead of bashing the police and men. How refreshing!
Maybe we could look as the solve rate for all of the murders where the body was found outside? Maybe we could look at the solve rate for women versus men for murders where the bodies were found outside.?
Of course this is more difficult (and a lot less fun) that sitting in a comfy chair in front of your screen, spouting unsubstantiated theories.
There's a big empty zone in the middle of the map, which may indicate the killer(s) live in that area and dont want to dump bodies near their place of residence.... I suggest any of these families contact a medium to help communicate with the victims and see if there is one or multiple killers. Only the families or the police department would be accepted by the medium practicener.
Doesnt Theresa Caputo live here? They never brought her in?
Damn what are police doing about this and imagine how many people have been killed since and up too current date but war on Drugs incarcerated so many for nonviolent crimes.
It's someone with authority. Most likely a police officer.
This is really unacceptable ‼️‼️🤔😡
100 bodies over 48 years is ~2 per year. In a dense population, that doesn’t sound abnormal to me.
