Thank you for the videos. Is there a torque spec for the 5 clutch basket nuts? Or is just that you run the nut till it bottoms and apply a light torque?
Mate i have watched both five and six parts and i havent seen where you install the clutch cable arm into the engine. Do they just pop out with a screwdriver?
the clutch cable arm normally slides down into the cases once you have removed the clutch actuator push rod from the clutch basket side. either that or there is sometimes a small retainer screw in the crankcase near the ignition rotor and stator. hope that helps
Hey Mr. Jones awesome videos! I need that clutch removal tool u use in this video, went to ur website but only tool available is axle basher. I'm in Jax. Fl. rebuilding KZ10ES for Tony Kart ( Krypton) Thank You!!
I would have got that from a motor bike shop such as www.mxstore.com.au/?gclid=Cj0KCQjws-OEBhCkARIsAPhOkIbr3FVOWPdoR1N61CqvZ2e4z_ad8N6wWE1f7EOhJA5G_edqCMAfThIaAv6MEALw_wcB
Nice Video. But you need to show one more extremely important thing before you assemble the barrel: you need to check the piston ring clearance. If you don‘t and the piston ring clearance is too small you risk a seizure.
Thanks mate, yes that's is very true my friend. this engine top end has already been used and run in previously to this video being made so we didn't show checking and adjust the ring gap, apologies.
What protection do you suggest for Tonykart this der-kartshop.de/Chassis-Schutz-rot-Set-Universal-CRG-Sodi-Mach1-Birel-Zanardi or this der-kartshop.de/Chassis-Schutz-OTK-set The second one is original for Tonykart?
Again thanks for the great videos in this series. I've hit "like and subscribe" on all.

Hey i cant get my clutch to grip it just dosnt do anything when i put my long shaft inside the motor
Patrick Hansen I had a problem with my clutch and it was I didn’t have enough clutch packs in it, it was one short of the driven disc.

@@PowerRepublic dude thankyou!! Appreciate your response. The push rod removal worked and my heart rate is slowly returning to normal. Thanks bro!
yeah boi, glad to help out!
i have a tm kz10b too: what can i change to improve power at low revs?
add some exhaust header spacers, reduce the ignition timing, move the cylinder down (remove cylinder base gaskets) as some ideas

Very cool man..
Thanks for the visit
Did you ever do any more with the kz or was this the last one?
we run it on track, Project Victory
Hello, the ignition is 0.6mm before TDC? Or 0.06 inches?
Normally set the timing at 1.8mm BTDC
No es necesario desmontar la culata para revisarla??
no si solo está cambiando el pistón. puedes dejarlo encendido para mayor eficiencia 😊
@@PowerRepublic gracias!!

Guido, I like the first ones as they are more heavy duty
