Marketing Plans in X16! | Chief Architect

The latest release of Chief Architect, X16 Beta version, has given us the capability of placing each assembly in the overall whole wall assembly to have individual layers.
This means we can set up a Layer Set for MARKETING PLANS!
This video shows how I would set up the Wall type and layer settings to create those marketing plans like a real estate flyer.

A little complicated to grasp in a short video, but would be more interesting in 3d to see the exterior layers turn off.
Might be more powerful to have a preset camera button like we do with the 3d framing view. 🎉

It would be hard to have a preset camera unless the program knew exactly what layers the user was going to name them first

Could you recomend to me a new desktop computer for x16. No nonsense. I'm usually a Dell or HP guy. What do you have? Ty.

Unfortunately I’m not up to speed on Dell or HP. I bought a laptop from R&J Technology rjtech.com. But they only sell laptops it seems.
At the time I was moving away from Mac b/c the Mac cards weren’t supporting RTRT in Chief. So I did the best I could afford in speed, memory and graphics. I think I got the RTX3070 video card and it’s still kicking but feeling it’s 2.5 yr age already.
I know that’s not much help, it’s just my story of what I did.

Someone commented that we’ve been able to place walls on unique layers for quite a while so it got me to thinking that I’d try marketing plans in X15 and before.
I’ve tried it before and couldn’t figure it out previously but here’s what I got this time
