I loved this bloke! Seen him many, many times. Excellent jazz musician and a superb comedian. There's a video of him somewhere which I can't find. It's where he's going off on one talking about beer. Castlemaine 4X in particular. Does anyone have a link to it?
This is the man who got me on a lifelong journey loving boogie woogie piano.First saw him in the 70's while watching Pebble Mill programme as a teenager.Thank you so much Tommy for introducing me to it early on and make our lives richer !
blessings Tom we miss you, fond memories and love. anyone got anything of the Eagle Jazz Band or Jim Shelley jazz band, much appreciated, thanks for the posting
Firstly, thanks to HollyJazzy for uploading Tommy .. I remember seeing Tom at all the venues mentioned above, also at the "Three men in a boat" Walsall ..The "Cleveland Arms" and the Victoria Hotel, Wolverhampton. A point of interest: A friend of mine booked the combo for his wedding reception in the 60's, for the princely sum of £60 ..can you believe that ??
