Bro, their first cd didn't release until 97. There were a ton of Hardcore/Metal bands way before them that did breakdowns and heavy music. They just had a better sound and promotion. Hell, even Slayer was doing breakdowns in Raining Blood. I love the new Hatebreed album. I think its so much heavier than their last album. This track is absolutely heavier than Divinity of Purpose, but that album is also good.
Never could I ever say a bad thing about a band that not only paved the way for so many bands but Jamey went out of his way to put bands over, whether it was putting tours together, playing them on headbangers ball or simply wearing their T' shirts on stage. The whole breakdown thing changed the face of heavy music. They deserve all the credit they get.
Eye saw hatebreed live on stage with devildriver. So awesome and great to see hatebreed live. I'm glad that I bought tickets to go with mom. This concert was so fun and great to go to. Unforgettable experience with hatebreed and devildriver
