Dude, Mooncat is hot on Twitch and Ninpek is not. How else is Enelle supposed to maintain viewership? He’ll probably talk about this on Check the Wire with Big Brother winner, Dan Gheesling
seeing you back out, go to the controls screen, and just look at it for a minute and start laughing is exactly why mooncat is my favorite game in this pack
the room at 20:22.... if you check mooncat's history on game select they mooncat is meant to be barbuta's spiritual successor. this room seems to be a decayed barbuta start room
I saw a post somewhere (I think Reddit) which explained Mooncat's controls as "cat accessible", IE whole paw on each side of the controller, and for some reason that's what made it click for me.
the moment mooncat really enveloped me is when he fell down and that melody came in, soo good if this game was a standalone indie and much longer youd see like 5 paragraph long reviews on steam about it
Mooncat is genius man. It really is like a basic platformer if it were designed by an alien. And eve tho the controls are really tight, they're so obtuse that it's confounding to play. 10/10 pure kino
It's a really great idea, but you can actually get used to it fairly quickly, just think of it as a 2 button game. Playing the game is good, but watching NL play it is much better, because he's pretty bad at it.
are you talking about mooncat? they didn't appear for me when I played but I saw a gameplay where they did, so idk if that's a bug or you need something else to see them
Game of the decade! They figured out how to make a simple platformer feel hard like you're 7yo and just got a Nintendo for christmas! Also NL is the perfect streamer to showcase this artistic gamedev masterpierce.
UFO50 really makes his background noise a lot more noticeable. For a streamer who prides himself on his yapping, you'd think he'd care to fix his audio, but 2024 is the year he discovered stereo sound, so I guess there is some hope left. For 2050.
On that Dino strategy game Why does my mans voice go up at the end of the sentences as he talks as if he is asking questions even when not asking questions ? Is that a gamer thing? A streamer thing ?
This looks so oldschool - until you remember that back in the day, you would have died on the first hit - also if you fell down more than one platform. Games were HC back then
Kick Club seem seems like someone played Megaman 7 and decided to make a game from the Mega Ball power. Right down to the stolen Megaman sound effects used in the game.
rage quitting on a win is such a power move
"That's Avianos" XD
I miss when NL would play games like Ninpek. Now all he plays is Mooncat, which is fine I guess, but it's not the same as the Ninpek days.

Mooncat is like learning how to play videogames as a 6 year old again
Everyone needs to try it just once, it's wild
@@trofl I did like 30 minutes ago. It really makes you feel like a real videogame journalist
@@RobotnikPlngas I know how the Cuphead tutorial guy felt now :)
It’s so simple but it requires you to completely rethink the last 30 odd years of controller muscle memory, it’s brilliant
@harrylane4
Back in my day we couldn't remap the controls... And we liked it!!
Mooncat gameplay out of context is wild, it's like watching a toddler learn how to play their first videogame.
i think thats why its so compelling, ive not struggled trying to learn basic movement like this since i was a little kid lol
They called it Game Drought, here comes the Game Flood!
UFO 50, Deadlock and Dale&Dawson
That's 52 games!!
Legendary Docket Rn
Don't forget StS and the dles are still in the docket too

it is actually quite a bit longer than what he played, the main path is only half of the game's levels.
@@JoStro_ holy shit I didn't know this
Me when Mooncat is on the screen:
“That’s Mooncat.”
straight up mooning my cat
43:46 Has he ever made that noise before? Hooooly...
"A sports game?" Only for it to be Bubble Bobble is the exact reaction I had lol
Mooncat is so goddamn good. It has so much more tech than a game with two buttons should.
mooncat is actually genius. genuinely a masterful work of game design.
Im so UFO 50 pilled
the "Translate to English" really pulls this comment up
Crazy part is mooncat has more moves like a run and air dash
Definitely need to lock in the future UFO 50 tier list!
I knew Avianos wasn't the game for him
That one looked so good

UFO 50 seems like the perfect Steam Deck game.
Oh yes it very much is, it's perfect for a lunch break.
I'm playing it on my Steam Deck, and yep it works perfectly, such a gem.
Guys we are in a golden era again. Notice and savor it
Mooncat is what it must feel like to learn to play a video game without having years of wasd experience.
This was the longest setup I've ever seen to a /r/perfectlycutscreams post
The legendary mooncat episode 🙌🏻
Whenever Mooncat is not on the screen everyone needs to be asking where is Mooncat.
Waiter! Waiter! More UFO 50 VODs, please!
Holy shit, that ending!!
imagine finally building the muscle memory to be really good at mooncat and then going back to like SMB3 or something
One of the best cutoffs
Mooncat without sprint speedrun

Play the Idle game to save time in the futurw.
20:05 Why is the starting room from Barbuta in Mooncat?
The little info text in-game says that it was originally conceived as a spiritual sequel to barbuta
Ohhh shit, good catch! I was wondering why that room, and that room only, is in a lower aspect ratio.
and at 21:26, when he comes back from the warp, it gets the cutout at the top where it would usually have the BARBUTA title
