Not too mention that Mario kinda eats the alive looking stars.
To be fair, Kamek really is the true villain. Every time there's a boss fight kamek comes and sprinkles some magic to make the fight harder, he saved bowser and made him giant in nsmbw and nsmbu, and for all we know bowser doesn't want to be a villain but is under the trance of Kameks magic to fulfil his own evil agenda, but doesn't want to do any of the dirty work himself
I’m not really convinced because of the series but also I kinda like him when he’s a good dad because he’s an amazing dad there is a whole video about it
I think Bowser may have learned his good parenting from kamek because he was raised by kamek. and I think kamek is actually also a good parent in a way because kamek looks out for bowser and his children like in paper mario the origami king he sticks with bowser jr when he gets injured. And in the new super mario games he helps the koopalings So he is also a good grandfather in that sense sure he taught them bad habits but he always looks after them.
