There is a surprisingly low amount of bad levels in this game, some can be frustrating but most have good design.
I like the game but I still think it lacks what all Mario games lack more difficulty, and a new theme. Also peeps just uploaded a new Super rare Mario hack to my channel check it out like and subscribe!
@@superpayaseria If you want difficulty play Mario maker or Mario 64 or the lost lvls. I like the main Mario games being fairly easy with a little difficulty. I don’t like it when it takes 20 lives to beat a lvl.
I think it doesn't have any truly bad level, just some a little bit plain

Can’t believe that you didn’t include the Piranha Creeper Creek After Dark. I genuinely hate that level. Dark level, instant death poison, and the green stars force you to not get hit (unless you have a Fire Flower in storage). Screw that level

For #1 on this list... Just jump on the edge and add your weight to the side of the direction you wanna go in. That method also works in multiplayer. And you still CAN walk if you play Rosalina

The red and blue cakewalk flip platforms in world 5-6 were introduced in world 2-4 of Super Mario 3D Land, which coincidentally is my least favorite level in 3D "land"!

This game is way too underrated. Like it is the best 3d game in my opinion. It's like a 2d game but it has a lot of open-world segments. There is way too much creativity. Honestly, if Nintendo put this much thought into the 2d games it would be amazing.
It's not underrated. If it were underrated, they wouldn't have made a remake.
for me the only 3d mario game that is better than this is galaxy 2

I personally hate 7-5, Trick Trap Tower. After you collect all 5 key coins, you're smoked out of the tower without notice. And if you're too slow to escape, YOU DIE!
i hated star-3 for its third green star until i realised you didn’t need the clone and you could just bring a cat suit

I was pretty superised as it makes me think before I jump. This doesn’t work in multiplayer which blows but by yourself it’s pretty fun

Well to give credit, the number one level on this list has amazing music, in fact: this entire level is what the Super Mario Maker 2 version is based of in the 3D World style. (Plus this level is pretty fun to do when you’re trying to not touch any of those rolling logs for like a challenge)
I agree with everything on the list except for the fact that COSMIC CANNON CLUSTER is NOT on the list!
You know, for BotW you could say "I have played over 200 hours and that is slightly below the average person"
Fun fact: 3D world speed runs are easier on the switch as the characters have a speed boost so cat momentum isn’t needed taking a lot less time
I had to play with 2 controllers, keep Luigi in his bubble, and play as Rosalina while I'm used to floating by holding B just to beat Rolling Ride Run

Almost all these levels are really fun with multiple players. Play these again with 3/4 players, Nico. Chaotic madness!
10:24 i love this level beacuse its so much fun doing epic jumps as rosalina and skipping all of these stupid rolling platforms
11:17 Totally especially if you’re playing online multiplayer just imagine the chaos that happens in this level when playing online with other players
What about World 7-3? I rage-quit 5 times and lost 5 lives in the process of trying to complete this level with all the stars, stamps and the gold flag.
the thing is: plaza panic makes you want to discover all secrets in the level, and if you do it slow you will die.. obviously if you skip all the secrets the level gets boring

Rolling ride run is really fun!
just don’t use the rolling logs it’s actually possible to beat it without them using Luigi and his cat suit!

I honestly liked the Rolling Ride Run
That oversight with the rollers feels so absurd to me. Presumably they increased the character speed so the game can be played faster and/or to improve the platforming in some way, but did they not do a round of playtesting to make sure the speed works? If they even got one guy to run through and 100% the game they'd probably notice how broken those rollers are compared to the speed

the bowser express is so good that he even appears in various mario party 10 minigames. also, it has the circus theme that is so beautiful

I see a future episode of, can you beat Super Mario 3D with 4 players. I mean, of course you can... but it would be super entertaining to watch. Especially if they all have to survive to the end!
Trying to get the second green star in Piranha Creeper Creek After Dark was absolute hell for me.
I like the Deepwater Dungeon The level design is very cool, but the Water passage is a bit boring
I completely agree with that last entry... which is why I decided to just 90 degree wall jump using Rosalina.

Not gonna lie, I actually like cakewalk flip because of it's hecticness and difficulty. It's reeeeeally funny when you have 4 players at the same time. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 (this is just my opinion)
That Level with the moving block with labs is a pain in the ass
My least favorite level is the dark piranha creeper level where you have to use the fire flower to light torches to get the green stars, I HATED getting the green stars there

so normally i despises auto scroller and that was true for flower-2 and 6-7 but after i realized that there are no upward death barriers in that auto scroller i now do the first halve of the level blind just by memory until i trigger the second auto scroller part where the camera snaps up and now they are probably some of my favorite level just because of that.
Seeing Chainlink Charge on this list made me happy
Also I agree Rolling Ride Run is an absolute nightmare and is by far my least favorite.

Always enjoy your videos, Nico. I agree with your list except for Deepwater Dungeon. I don't really have a good reason why, but I LOVED that level. Now, take Rainbow Run (Star-1) and A Beam in the Dark (Bowser-something) on the other hand. Really didn't like those ones.

I haven't played this game but love watching videos of it so when I saw this level play through i think of a capt toad level which honestly should have been 1. My reasoning is simple its quite a small level like the capt toad stages and also because I think 3d world needs more of those
I don't know why people don't long jump that much in this game. I basically long jump all the time.
At first (until last month) i didnt know that the red and blue jump platforms only change when you jump, before i thought my timing was amazing

@@brianzaun, sand kingdom is amazing and I’m pretty sure there’s only one forest level unless you’re counting Cascade Kingdom and that and Wooded Kingdom are great as well

The only level that I disliked the slightest bit is Grumblump Inferno. It's the hardest level in the game in my opinion, way harder than Champion's Road. It's one of my favorite levels in the game, but I died on it so much that I got tired out in the end. I honestly think SM3D World has some of the best level design in any Mario game.
Roller Roller Isle, aka that one level that is janky to play on and the only way to have fun on it is to cheese it.

For me the the level in world bowser where you ride the cube across lava cause it's so hard. I barely beat it with an invincibility leaf on my first playthrough
