£26 and you can make yourself for £4 any way you make great videos,s and yes we know its your time and money , you are the best UK mechanic for helping people
Great work Jimmy as usual 👍
The only mechanic on this planet that is able to use less gloves than any one other.
Thanks 👍
I’ve done a few of these now. The first one I did the identical repair but around 6 weeks later this happened again.
Under further investigation I found the mount that holds the high pressure pump to the block a bolt had come loose and the mount had cracked and over time the vibration/ slight movement cracked the pipe. I hope yours is sorted now but if the fault returns you know where to start looking . Great vids and info 👍 Good luck
This same bolt was loose
@@ORileysAutos what would your choice be if it was for reliability etc a Peugeot partner. Or a ford transit connect say both three years old 👍
Hi my Peugeot boxer van keeps going in to limp mode and the PDF had been replaced but still goes in limp mode
nice video and something different it looked like an awkward job at first but it turned out to be nice a easy once some bits were removed 👍👍nice one Jimmy .
Thanks 👍
Great to see something a little different from the dpf faults, good stuff keep it up. Thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks 👍
whats even more impressive is jimmy does all these repairs...with 1 hand!! so called master techs are useless with 2
Just come across the channel and am binge watching- this nice shiny new one has just popped up. Enjoying them all, but missed out on the like buttons. 😢
Welcome aboard!
i belive that the citroen book say that you always should change high pressure hard lines when removed.
Usually a common issue if something like that is on the shelf as you would expect that to last the life of the car/van… some parts I remember buying from Fords the man on the desk could recite the part numbers 🤣
helps with the cost of living 😂🧤🧤
£574.88 😮 Im happy with the otofix. For £245 the cost of living and that. I can stock up on some gloves and fill the beer fridge up a few times 😂😂 educated again though thanks 👍👍👍🍻🍻
Which model of Otofix?
All High pressure Common Rail Diesel steel pipes are a 1 use item ! they are supposed to be replaced every time you remove them or you run the risk of them fracturing and spraying fuel out onto a hot engine. Don't shoot the messenger its the Vehicle Manufacturers procedure !
BMW says that you can reuse 1 time, and replace 2nd time
@@Mars2Moon BMW don't make Injector/Pump pipes they buy them in from the Diesel manufacturers like Bosch, Delphi etc etc. The Diesel system manufacturers stipulate 100% that they are renewed every time.
I have been wearing one shoe the last 4 years cost of living
Firstly brilliant vid as usual, wearing gloves i highly recommend as you will live longer and have a more upmarket wife lol , seriously though, i found modern high pressure diesel pipes are made with a seam which leaks eventually!! Also tools needed as in what you recommend as in every tool ....from a promo you might be able to afford both gloves 😅
211 Peugeot Partner.
37,000 km.
Adblue, sensor & injector need replacement.
Very disappointed that components failed so soon.
6 weeks out of warranty €800 job.
Peugeot, are paying 75%.
My question is.
Am I not driving the van enough, or will this be a recurring problem,
To sell or not to sell.
I've seen on other Peugeot partners the tick over speed is around 850rpm. I have an old 2004 Partner DLx 1.9 but the tick over has always been 1100rpm since I got it. Cant find any leaks in fuel pipes but wondering if it could be the actual vacuum diaphragm that's letting in air. Seems odd that the tick over doesn't fluctuate either, any ideas why my rpm is so high ? any help appreciated.. -cheers
just above radiator on slam panel facing engine quite often has label for engine code only problem either get washed away or someone removes .possibly to read.also on timing cover . just stupid place put label needs to be in dry area ie cab
what diagnostic machine is best for dpf reg and milage reset and ecu coding
Hello, I need your help, have the same engine on 308 and I have changed 10 pipes and they all start to leak, at 7:08 where the 3 bolts should be the upper one is broken, could this be the issue? my mechanic tells me it is not the case but we cannot find the source of vibration, fuel pump is mounted without any loose bolts and I have no idea what else to do...
Sorry, having ask on comments, but I ordered 1 off your mug at£21.38 11 days still northing
Oh sorry I'm not sure how long it takes. It's run by Teespring. I will try check there website for an idea
Clue's in the name 😂
Anyone know what the strange noise on idle is with these 1.5 hdi psa engines, its there all the time but louder on idle. Some say water pump I only noticed after adblue update
The yanks tell me that launch blocked kingbolen and others using their software from accessing Chrysler secure site. Launch will still work though. As for your gloves, you will end up with half a box of right hand gloves.

Thank you 🤗

are you willing to sell your otofix scanner?
was there a loose bolt below your pipe at 7:08?
Yes on the mount bracket
@@ORileysAutoswhich bolt was loose? on the metal thing above the pipe that has 3 bolts like a triangle?
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Must be time to invest in a head or chest gopro mount surely ?
If you only use one hand you should charge half price
There is a thing on ecoblue engines that the timing belt can last a long long time, as it is In oil based.
do you know if this is ecoblue or not
It's not and listen out for the cam chain or it's the end virtually unless you snap a valve first, something will get you like already happened to this one and mine 😢
