This is the start of a beautiful relationship!! This is about to be best content of early fall. My mom's was in tears watching Stay Fishy at St. Helens. 😂😂 Welcome to my hood bro. Lots of things to do here. Enjoy yourself my man. These foolz are for sure your people . ♥️
Great video - as always. Good example of feeling that brotherhood with someone you just met. 23:45 - throwing Taku under the bus - and he just released a video on how to use salmon roe!
Even then, a lot of time color is added because it's lost its color in the time between capture and the store. But I agree 1000%, wild caught all the way! Farmed salmon is gross.
Robert, you can't have enjoyed that, really? What a bunch of amatures, Captain included. "Reel, reel, reel, reel. Just keep reeling". It was obvious to everyone watching that the leader swivel was tight up against the tip ring. It was just lucky the drags were sent low enough that you could reel, reel, reel against a rig locked up tight to the tip ring without snapping off. I mean, who grips the rod below the reel when playing a decent fish? No way to guide your incomming line and unnecessarily poor leverage against even an average fish. Skill and technique, non existent, likewise proper coaching from the crew. Nothing for me there man. That looks like a money back situation to me, seriously.
...these are not fishing guides. They're UA-camrs. And in my 10 days with them, I was very impressed by their knowledge of the fisheries we hit. Not sure why you're hatin' so hard, but I will say that it's easy to judge every little thing that is said or done. It's a bit different in the moment amidst the chaos. I say silly/wrong things in the heat of the moment all the time... then when I'm editing, I'm like "what was I thinking?" Haha. Either way, thanks for watching brother.
It's friends having a blast and after fishing Columbia River probably 200-250 times I will say that every single net guy says "Reel reel reel" and you'll here me say "it's at the thing in the video" It's a complex net job that can cost you perhaps the only fish of the day and net guys want that long flasher and leader setup as reeled up as possible. So yes - it's annoying when they say that and you're reeled but there's a reason for it, and it's chaos and excitement. Robert fishing with us was more like just fishing with the homies and bringing some cameras. This one might not be for you but guarantee we did a bunch of other fun stuff including my first epic Kayak fishing trip with Robert showing me the ropes.

you CAN get salmon that color at a grocery store but it has to be WILD caught Alaskan...never buy farmed atlantic salmon..
