I need feedback everyone! PLEASE be honest... I make this content for YOU guys, so I want to know! Do you guys like the idea of peppering in some other adventures in my Panama videos? It won't be THIS much... but I'm thinking like 10-15 minutes of epic fishing, 5-10 minutes cooking up the catch and then 5-10 minutes of some kind of lifestyle/adventure showing you guys what it's like down here. But if you guys don't care about that and just want to see fishing, that's fine! Please comment and give me your honest thoughts. Thanks everyone 🙏
@@YakFishField 100% these vlog style adventure vids are welcomed and anticipated imo. Thanks for always engaging with your viewers with questions and responses we wish u a great new year!
We absolutely LOVED this format. Fishing, tide pools, waterfalls, monkeys, cooking up delicious looking fish... how could anyone NOT love this??? Mix in more adventures and jungle lifestyle please!
This content is dope bro. A balance is good for your channel and good for you. I want to see all your adventures in that beautiful place. Just as much as I love your adventures on the road in the states. 😍
Love the fishing, less about the cooking (it's not what I'm into) but it's all about the life adventures is what we all crave. 90% of us will never see half of the places you go to. Keep up the great videos, and we'll keep watching.
So, im watching this one in two 35’ installments as i bike indoors (in snowy in delaware right now). So far i love this episode, it’s something different in the land of giants. Rock on Rob!
You're one of the few UA-camrs who has such an interesting life I really enjoy learning more about it. The fishing is great and I love seeing your travels alongside the fish! Catch and cooks are a lot of fun, learning about your local cuisine. I think exploring more of cultures behind your travel is a great way to expand on your channel. Like when you were in Spain, it would've been cool to see what the local fisheries catch and how they prepare their food. Keep up the great work, man!
Super helpful feedback brother, thank you! I want to freshen up the content and I think mixing some of this stuff in will be nice. I'll always put the fishing and cooking first, but for those that are interested, I think I'll start mixing in some jungle lifestyle/adventure stuff in the back half of my vids here
BINGO! Mui Bueno! Kudos! You have nailed a great composite of mixed narratives which holds interest and has excellent content. Your genuine authentic self sells holds interest and creates comfortable viewing of your content. Again, MUI BUENO, 😎👍COMPADRE!👏👏👏
Hey Robert - i really enjoyed the video and new format. It’s interesting to see what the Panama lifestyle is all about. I was with you and the crew at Los Buzos in 2020 for kayak fishing. Keep up the good work.
Like the vid Rob. Definitely go with the Panama fishing vid peppered with adventures & daily life vlogs for a more dynamic & FPV content. Not as lucky as you living the life at Panama but grateful for taking us along for the ride 👍🏼🙏🏼 Cheers from down under
Great job Robert, we love Panama and have visited Cambutal & Los Buzos resort 2 years ago, so beautiful. We think your idea of “thirds” as video footage, is a marvellous plan. Keep up the great content! Hope to meet up with you there in the very near future and catch some Big Ones! From all of us in Kelowna BC Canada
Hahah I told her I shoulda had someone film a little bit at the party. Your boy was gettin' it! Danced the night away until like 3am... might be gettin' too old for all that, was feelin' it on the way to the tidepools and in the jungle 🤣
She did! Last May we had the same monkey experience a few days during our week stay. The jungle is literally in the backyard. The Rooster is on my bucket list .... Be there in March!
Love this content. Fishing, wild tide pools, climbing a waterfall, hanging with monkeys then cooking up your catch (looked delicious by the way)... what more could ya ask for???
Loved the episode! Definitely would like to see more like that! I do think making the fishing only 1/3 seems light. Maybe 50-60% fishing…40-50% other?! Just my 2 cents. I think it would also be awesome to see you fish some other epic fisheries in central and South America….maybe a couple few times a year…destination video series👀🤷🏼♂️🎣🤙🏻🍻
Awwwww! Samantha is adorable! What a great video. One day I'd love to be down there cooking with you, my friend. You can be assured that I'll take as much cooking content as you'll give me. I also really enjoy the "real world" stuff you do.
Personally, I like the fishing content, but, the occasional day in the life of Robert videos are entertaining and gives us insight into your experiences. I subscribe to your channel because you do such a great job.
My son and I each bought the Lightening Nomad kayak that was manufactured in Houston, TX. I picked them up in the fall of 2023. It would have cost around $500 each to ship them to me. I spent a little over $300 in fuel, food and motel for me to pick up both them from an employee who lives in Conroe, TX. Not a bad trip. The kayak is quite heavy but I have bought a cart from YakAttack and it will help me to move it around easier. I took it out on a lake in the fall after getting in home in 2023 and my son and I have used them both in my neigbors lake. We really like them.
That's awesome Gary! I lead the design team on that kayak, so I'm really, really glad you two like them. It's always a trade off between weight and durability/longevity/weight capacity. Since our Kick model is much lighter, we decided to make the Nomad bulletproof rather than lighter. Truly appreciate you supporting our small, family-owned, American-made business!
Super cool episode!!! I'd love to see more of these showing the area around Los Buzos. Definitely bring back Sam too! Her gallotito was awesome!!! You've finally inspired me to get down there. I already have plans for 2025 so my goal is to visit in 2026!
@ and when you got to the gate about to jump it and she was like or we can just go around that was funny it’s all about the moments ! Tight lines great time keep on pushing
I would love to come fishing there sometime and watching the fishing is great, but honestly after watching fish after fish get caught it gets a little repetitive. So adding different aspects to videos is a great idea.
I like the fishing side and the adventure side fun to introduce new people. I get bored with catching cooks. I don't like the cooking part cuz it always makes me hungry on all the channels I watch. I usually fast forward the cooking part. If it's short that's okay, but sometimes they take half the video to do the cook and to me. Nope, that's not why I watch fishing channels or adventure channels
Absolutely love your content Rob! But you have had a nose hair popping out of the front of your right nostril for the last 3 videos in a row and it’s driving me insane! Love you!

Loved this format and the idea of peppering in other adventures beyond fishing. Keep it up!
@YakFishField Love seeing big fish caught is great, although someone once said "variety is the spice of life"..... a little.🤪
Sounds good! Show em how a Texan cooks fish ! Smoke em up!
I loved the format. Nice to see more of the country and wildlife other than just fishing.😊😊
Awesome Doug good to know! Thanks!
Glad to see you getting out there again
He split with his fiancee?
@ nobody ask you
It's good to be back man!
@@Oldsport216 yeah we split up back in April
I like videos like this. This is cool to see what Panama is like. Especially for someone who has never been.
Awesome, thanks for the feedback! Future vids probably won't be THIS heavy on the non-fishing stuff, but I'm thinking I'll start mixing some in!
I like it all. Variety is the spice of life.
True statement!
Awesome content as always. I do like seeing what it’s like out there.
Thanks Frank, super helpful feedback!

Looks the place to be on this cold day!
That's why I always come down here around January... to avoid winter! 😂
I want to see it all fishing adventures and probably even some camping if you can and don't forget catching cooks
Thanks so much for the feedback! I do need to plan another camping trip here soon

Your new Friend looks and sounds really cute! I hope you the best!
She's an adventure chick so she was real easy to have around here.

I think your videos are the best thing since sliced bread. well the Panama ones anyway. I think this is the best Panama video to date❤️💪😎
Wow! Thanks man! From someone who tunes in all the time, this is really good feedback! Appreciate you coming along for the adventures brotha
Well it's called Field Trips for a reason....so yeah, let's do more adventures....this was a cool video.
It is called field trips! Give us some field trips! Love the fishing but also love adventure!
half and half love the fishing but good to see panama aswell
Awesome, thanks for the feedback Nash!

i like the little pepper of adventure :D keep it up! would have been fun to see the dancing part lol
Hahah I told her I shoulda had someone film a little bit at the party. Your boy was gettin' it! Danced the night away until like 3am... might be gettin' too old for all that, was feelin' it on the way to the tidepools and in the jungle 🤣
Awesome wildlife tour for first time.🎉
Yeah she got blessed by Mother Nature this day!

The Rooster is on my bucket list .... Be there in March!
Love my jungle walks in Panama early morning. Man I miss it hopefully transplant for the summers sooner than later!!!

Like the format. 8-12 mins of this pro rata mix seems like a good easy to consume watch.
I dig it, maybe alternate one like this then one just fishing. Your trip is my #1 bucket list…. Someday, before I’m pushing up daisy’s.
tour guiding is good for ever now and then bobby
I liked this style video, top notch!!!
That was awesome Bro show me more. Peace
Thanks Coop! I will
Very interesting UA-cam video. The food looked delicious 😋🎣🐟🐠🐒

We are your neighbors 😁
Nice upgrade rob ;)

Hahah poor guy
Those shrimp shells are good for fertilizer
Hey brother, I'm heading down to Panama to see my wife's family in DEC..... Would love to spend a day there and hook up.
Content is great. Come back to the states man. Create content here in that states. Just my 2 cents.
Robert starves his guest and then feeds her so that the food has the best seasoning, hunger. Pro move my friend!
I need to go back
What happened to your lady friend you had brother ? did I miss something ? dont mean to pry but she was awesome 🤙👍
love it, who is this lovely lady....
Absolutely love your content Rob! But you have had a nose hair popping out of the front of your right nostril for the last 3 videos in a row and it’s driving me insane! Love you!
LOL wow, running to the mirror now to handle that situation. Gettin old manifests itself in weird ways 🥴🤣
