That header flashing that you used to cover the bottom layer of vinyl siding, (The piece colored maroon), What is that product called in how can I purchase it? Everything I'm finding is called something similar to Deck ledger flashing cap and the width of the ledge is an inch and a half to cover a 2-in wide board. I can't find anything small enough to cover just j-channel.

I want to start with vinyl board and batten 40" up then transition to vinyl double 4 siding. What do I use for that transition?

Hello, Jason! You would need to use a back-to-back j-channel with a head flashing in between the two channels. These details are in the installation guides for each of our brands located on our website. Thank you!

@@PlyGemI'm doing the exact same as question above. Vinyl Board batten 40in and then horizontal 4.5 dutchlap. So, board and batten j channel, head flashing, and then dutchlap j channel? No starter strip for the dutchlap? Thanks
