yes, agree. He's a master at incorporating dynamics and it's been a feature of his compositions since his early days in the Scorpions. It's one of the key elements that make his playing so captivating. Helps when you have a 100dB amplifier and an active 3-band EQ system built directly into your guitar, along with a Thomas Blug BluGuitar AMP-1 in your FX chain :-)
I honestly think he was born with a guitar in his hand, he plays with more passion anyone I’ve ever heard. When I was a kid I have all of the 70s scorpions. In the 80s rolled aroundI enjoyed Matias what the music change dramatically.

Neat video. I have to admit I don't recall hearing Uli since he left the Scorpions. And back then, I didn't hear many interviews of him. His English is pretty fluent. Certainly better than Rudy! He of course is a great guitar player. One pet peeve I had with him is when he would sing on the Scorpions albums. Some really great music but with his singing voice...ugh... please let Klaus do the singing....just my opinion. Thanks for the Scorps videos...my all time favorite band....

Uli s really a one in a million type of guitarist. No one has his technique and nuances on their fingers yet.

i always thought of Uli as the white, German version of Jimi Hendrix. love his shit with the 'Scorps. great player.

We loved this. However, the “AXE” branding was distracting and intrusive. It tends to block what Uli was doing.
