Does anyone remember when the band Rush opened for Rare Earth in Winnipeg, Manitoba? It was my first concert, and it might have been around 1969. All I can remember is that my friend and I were standing by the front of the stage, and that it was a small venue. There was a cloud of cigarette smoke in the air. I can't even remember the location where the concert was played at. I can't remember much more, but Rush must have been relatively new at the time as I had not heard of them back then.

I saw them in 1970 in Bloomington,IN. at a concert ,I feel very lucky to have seen them
I BET THAT WAS GREAT?
This is the BEST version of their Get Ready & its still sounds great as....even today !!!!! I actually love this arrangement, it couldn't have been done any better. It don't touch the original done by the Temptations but it was written for them. But rearranged to this kind sound is just so prefect.
Yes I love it too I rock it almost everyday when we was in the army we used to be headed out to the field without boomboxes and we be playing it loud as hell had a lot of fun a lot of fun listen to that course we was also high as hell too
Blows the Temptations away. No contest.
Everybody out of the water. Theres a chance of someone getting electrocuted.
I remember the announcement. The drummer hand to make it and he was smoking a joint at the time haha!
Again they played in Fargo, ND in the 80's..at a local saloon...incredible live band...played the long versions
Those were the days : stoned!
One of the greatest live performances of all times... still remember driving my parents crazy turning the music up and me with my ears glued to my speakers to hear the bass better... good memories!
I'm 72 ... love the memories and the music!
Esos maravillosos años
Ho yeah! this is the one I was looking for, thanks so much for posting this version, all I could remember was the album looking a piece of 'nam surplus, how we rolled back then...
The Hammond sound is amazing.. The RE live performances are simply marvelous..
Mark Olsen, RIP. Underrated keys player.
Went to this concert here in Miami in 1971 at the. Miami Marine Stadium..they were recording this double Lp....will never forget...John Persh. And his bass playing talent..and Mark Olson on keyboard...Eddie Guzman was owesome at congas...and of course Pete Rivera on Drums
I'm 69, was in bands 67 - 75, community theater after, jazz band, etc. This is the best next to Santana live.
Santana live was the shit!!!
i remember they were flying to concert way east and a snow storm caused them to be in Cleveland for two days...no prob...short notice was out for a popup jam session...1:45" classic performance non-stop!!!!!!
zeitlose musik, für mich einer der besten stücke jemals
I'm 65yrs of age now, I saw them live during this tour, I was only 12 or 13 at the time and this was my 1st live concert! These guys were on fire, even back then..best show ever!
