- 4 years in the waiting. The mad rush to get everything ready paid off. The House is starting to feel like a home. A house that's never had proper windows or doors know is one big step closer to being a home. These old run down Portuguese houses come with so many challenges and this was no exception buy its all worth the patience and hard work.
Think I need a beer.

I can feel the vibrancy in your voice pick as this is a massive milestone. It now means the internal can be started to turn the house into a home. Keep your spirits up and I’m sure if you offered board and lodgings lots of people would come and assist FOC. You’re doing great man !!!

Massive transformation indeed, even without the windows and doors in. Must be a big relief to know that the inside of the house is somewhat weatherproof. It should make a bit more comfortable for you to work in Andrew come winter.

Found you originally when looking at Portuguese UA-cam Channels several years ago, after considering potential second home in the country. I'm from west coast US, and in real estate development, so appreciate the fortitude and efforts (along with the struggles) of your total rebuild. While I am involved in new homes and rental communities, a construction site is a construction site, right? Also, that you're a dog lover (my 7kg dog loves to wrestle big dogs), and the beauty of the countryside of your area, has kept me watching your progress and updates. Said once I'd buy you a beer, so will be staying at Ombria Viceroy from November 16th -28th, so glad to keep my word on that there or local town pub, and know you must not be far from there as I saw you drive past once on one of your videos. Considering buying a place there. If busy with your project, understand but seems like you're a good enough bloke LOL. Yes my dog will be traveling with me.
