Picked this up at the pre-release price though I haven't had time to play with it yet. But THIS was exactly what I was hoping for. A playable bass that sounds really REALLY good.
This and SWAM's plugins are making me think that physically modelling is the way of the future. It surpasses samples in terms of both ROM and RAM memory requirements, and the realism is getting better all the time.
Now THIS sounds fantastic. It has a real element that all the others except for one lack. My Rickenbacker vst by native instruments is just so incredibly stiff sounding.
Do you think modo bass can beat rickenbacker bass? I can't figure out which one to get because I like the sound of rickenbacker bass, can modo bass match or beat that tone?
@@heythere6983 It does take a while but trust me, I know guys that do it as easily as brushing their teeth here in Nashville. You would never be able to tell if it was a bass, keyboard or MIDI.
James Balestrino nah Trillian is still a great synth and can be used for more than bass. Have both. Prioritize MODO bass for a greater number of things.✌🏾

theres no one single video tutorial on ho to make bass glides with modo bass....tried in logic and cubase pitch wont go more than 2 semitones...so sad...

There are slides that are not pitch-bend. The manual covers slides and legato slides, please take a look and you'll be sounding like your favorite Pearl Jam songs in no time.
