Valerie was not able to come over because she apparently had an unpaid (D.U.I.) ticket from the UK and preferred to stay in America instead of seeing her boyfriend (the drummer) in the "Zutons" and having to pay her fine. (Which is a bit like bond it increase in value you longer you leave it.)
Teddy absorbs the song , he feels it and then he interrupts it . He has done justice to every cover I’ve heard him sing .
