Red Velvet set themselves apart from the crowd early. A Kpop group releasing an entire album of smooth jazz and piano-ballads was unheard of at the time.
Also, if we're doing their discography chronologically, you did actually miss a christmas ballad song that Red Velvet released between The Red album and The Velvet album. I know you said you like christmas songs, and this is a great one! It's called Wish Tree, and while it does have a music video, it feels a bit disjointed with the song (Red Velvet are not in the video), and it has a part where it cuts off the music for a bit, before it comes back in, which just disrupts the flow of the song. So I recommend you react to a color coded lyrics video if you're gonna react to the song.
In my opinion, discovering Red Velvet's albums and the gems they contain are one of the best experiences in this kpop world
Rv is amazing.

28:36 That's an electric guitar!
in the second song you talk about the strange sound that appeared in the song. Reminds me of crunk music from usa southern rap
First time is my fav in the album
