It was a totally new song though so it steps out of the tape realm there, but it’s a fire song with a dance break segment in the middle.. they have test videos for tape 2 that have subs like tape 3. Whalien 52 is a brilliant, brilliant song! It's about a whale with a different frequency of 52 Hertz to the rest of the whales which means no other whale can hear him. That's why it's whalien = whale+alien. One of the quirkiest and loveliest BTS songs 💜💜💜

Whalien is about a real whale 🐋, the 52 hertz whale its frequency could not be heard by other whales , hence they are the lonliest whale and as well is the high pitched sound you heard the whole song, bts compared themselves to this whale because they were alienated , lonely, and different in the kpop industry 😢

heavily agree with your last comments i also think music is very subjective and there's really no bad song!!! some people like to listen to specific sounds but being able to enjoy a wide variety of sounds is so fun and it's why personally i love txt because they experiment a lot with their music, they don't have much songs that sound the same and while i like many other songs by different artists i LOVE basically every single song they've released so i always keep up with them because i can trust they won't disappoint lol. thank you for reacting to txt <3 i hope you react to more of their albums!

Yes, they are ACTUAL rappers. Kpop companies have a problem with adding unnecessary raps in songs, but you can tell when a group writes their own raps (in other words, has actual rap). Kpop companies usually take the least vocally talented member and gives them a rap position since their vocals aren’t that impressive compared to other members of the group. We call those “idol rappers”

they have the best albums their discography has a range of so many genres which is one of many reasons why i love them (btw all the members participated in writing and composing this album ) my personal favorite album that got me into txt was The name chapter: Temptation i would love for you to react to that album!!!!
