    Hello jimmy, just a small question for you. Hope you see it.
    I'm not a full time sketcher, or sketching have nothing to do with my job, but like to draw. I like to draw things like cars, bikes, things, not faces. But I can't draw just straight from my brain, my own ideas just doesn't come out. I can copy anything by seeing anything quite good.
    So how do i do it, how do i create ideas?

    Kindly see this Tutorial " ellipse making jig "
    & we can even make this jig by using Popsicles or some card sheet as well
    Your ideas are always very helpful 👍
    Thanks

    Is there a specific book you would recommend to further learn product design / industrial design sketching?

    Hi, I want to know the software will be used when you work in company. Creo? solidwork? Alias? AI? Could you introduce these software? thx

    Wouldn't the rear ellipse have a smaller perspective line(degree) because its further back in perspective?

    Jimmy do you think I’ll be able to master my sketching in 10 days, if not how many hours should i put everyday for the next 10 days?

    • @JimmyHuynhdesign
      @JimmyHuynhdesign  5 років тому +11

      Impossible to master sketching in 10 days but you certainly can make great improvement. I would give yourself 4-8 hours a day spread out throughout the day. Vary it up by sketching from your imagination, from an image, from an object. Sketch the same thing 20 times, trying to improve it every time. Try not to change up your subject too much. Stick to a hand full of objects that are somewhat similar to each other (dont try to sketch a car then a dog right after). A quick tip...there is a lot of fear with sketching a bad drawing...allow yourself to mess up. If its a bad sketch, just add it to the pile and move on. Dont allow the fear to get to you. Good luck Janhavi!

    Do you start out doing orthographic or perspective when doing a design? Great video btw, I learned a lot.

    • @JimmyHuynhdesign
      @JimmyHuynhdesign  5 років тому +2

      Whats up Roland! Depends on what im designing but yeah, mainly begin with straight on Ortho shots then eventually convert them to perspective later on.
