My new Blenheim arrived last Sunday (Martha) and so came looking for training ideas….And you guys popped up immediately. My fave family, after my own of course. Will be practicing this tomorrow
I've been waiting for this video so long! I am very interested in training videos, especially for cavaliers, although it is best to lure a dog into a sitting position then to forcefully press it down :) . Please do more vids!
My cav pulled a lot too so in puppy school the trainer recommended a halter where you attach the leash in the front part of the chest instead of the back and it helped a lot. They said attaching it to their back makes them want to pull more. Those little dogs are strong, lol!
Yes, we do have one of those front clip harnesses and it works great! We'll do another video on that shortly, but I meant that I was never able to teach them how to not pull. Some dogs are trained like that!
Thinking of getting a Cav to be my service dog. Your puppies are making me fall in love 😍. I am from Toronto and thinking of teaching my future SD commands in French. What are your thoughts on that and did you ever teach you pups french commands? why or why not?
Whichever language you use is fine, as long you use that same language all the time. For Herky and Milton, they only understand English commands although we also speak French and Vietnamese. They don't understand anything in those languages
Love the ''where is Milton''.. its way too cute😊
It's everyone's favorite trick! Including Herky ;)
My favorite is "where's Milton?". Their sweaters are so cute. We love Herky and Milton. ❤
We all love that trick :) Herky included! I wonder if Milton likes it though lol
Love this video and great tips! My favorite is the "Where's Milton?" Trick, but you guys have certainly done a great job with training overall.
Definitely everybody's favorite trick :D Thank you!
This reminded me I really need to work on training ! Herky is so cute finding Milton what a good girl !
