Fantastic, great work. You guys took us back in the year 1969 when cold war was at it's peak, Apollo 10 moon landing, some of the great movies came that year. This Ferrari Daytona got its fame from the hit TV series "Miami Vice "
Complimenti!
To those who say the Miura would have lost keep in mind this particular Miura was a one-off Lamborghini Miura P400 S “Millechiodi”. Larger engine with higher output and bespoke bodywork. The covered headlights and round taillights should’ve tipped you off. I still prefer Gandini’s eyelash frivolity though.

Insomma tutto fantastico!

FOund this by pure accident! Brilliant little film! Balboni was my childhood hero - just turned up as a child on the workflaw of Lamborghini and becomes part of history.
It's actually Arturo merzario! Shame he doesn't have his marlboro hat. His the guy that saved Niki Lauda back in 1976. And also a Ferrari driver in 1973 I believe.
Yet another beautifully made film about iconic cars, that makes the same old mistake that all these beautiful films make... playing music over the sounds of the cars!
Questo video rappresenta la leggenda. Contadini, fattorie, campi coltivati e bolidi fiammanti.
Fantastic mini movie! Both iconic cars but the Miura just has that touch of genius about it! I think im going to dust down my DB9 this weekend and give it a damn good thrashing after watching this!😂😂😂😂👍♥️
It's almost cruel for the Daytona : depending on the angle you're looking at it this Ferrari looks fat and clunky, despite being quite lovely from others (fewer, imo). The Miura on the other hand still looks so sublime and light. Lamborghini killed the game for years with the Miura.
I guess you're right, eventhough personal taste rules when talking about sport cars.... Back in the years the Daytona was actually never considered such an amazing beauty here in Italy albeit it was all in all faster than the earliest Miura. The Miura was a true styling masterpiece by Marcello Gandini but honestly it clearly resembles the Ford Gt40 look. ( This specific british racing green Miura nicknamed Millechiodi driven by V.Balboni is a one off specimen, fitted with a 400 hp rebored engine and some bodyshell mods...Even more appealing than the original one.One of the most sought after amongst Miura collectors.)
Beautiful as both these cars are… Let’s take a moment to realise that’s Beatrice Frasson! ✨👀 If I was taking a Muira out for a drive, I’d want her in the passenger seat! What a beautiful woman 🔥👌
Why Have I never seen this before. This is top of the pop entertainment. Tump up. A little unfair comparison. A sport car vs a GT car. Sure, the Miura would win the drag race but bet the Daytona would win on top speed.
I'd love to see a 1967 Corvette Stingray 427 go up against either of those cars...and dust them. Or Richard Petty in a 1970 Plymouth Superbird. Awesome footage nonetheless though.
@@FirstFamilyCharger I agree this video is awesome... but I don't understand, i mean i don't remember watching this video at all or writing a comment about it. Maybe I though I was writing a comment for nascar 'racing' . lol. thank you !
If you stumble across this video and wonder when it stops being stupid. Just move on. The beautiful song of the v12 engines are drowned out by music. Swing and a big miss.

The Miura is on a whole other level in terms of styling.. one of the most beautiful cars ever
Ugly car
A tractor will always be just a tractor. Ferrari 365 GTB/4 is much more beautiful and faster.
@@horsepower523 Daytona was also a nice car, but styling is far beyond the Miura
Both stupendously styled cars, but in a different way. Nobody design's cars like the Italians!
Yes... styling, but the robust nature of the Daytona makes things more equal. Love them both.
Didn't know about the Millechiodi, can't believe that a Miura could even look better than the original. Fantastic video!

Apollo 11
The best car video production/upload on the whole of UA-cam. Perhaps with the exception of the one Simon produced on the Aston V8 vantage. Love it.

Ferrari would've easily won by a mile if they would've really been pushing. The 365 GTB/4 "Daytona" was once the fastest car in the world.
