Hypixel PvP Is Dying

I know its kinda weird how I play Skywars while saying how PvP is dying out.
I found myself playing alot of pvp recently though wich is why I decided to cover this topic.

For me the problem is that it's impossible to compete against sweats, it's not like an FPS where you can hit a lucky headshot, your chance of winning is basically zero, and given that theres at least 1 team of them in bedwars, and they will win

i love how hypixel skyblock has like 1/4th of the whole server's players playing it

One of the number one issues with hypixel pvp is its 1.8 pvp.
Thats not to say 1.9 pvp is better, both of them suck.
There are a few unique pvp modes available in Minecraft, but none of them are mainstream. I'm actually a part of one of these small communities and it is amazing what happens when you try a more unique pvp modes (rocket jumping spleef anyone?)

Minecraft overall is losing some players its becoming how it was before 2020/2021 but there is a big chance minecraft will rise again 1.8.9 isnt dying its just a drop of players
