Pregnant with baby no 1 at 32. Don’t put pressure on yourselves lovely. It happens when it’s meant to. I know that sounds vague but it does! For people saying it is a worry in your 30s… I was on the pill for 17 years and it happened first time. Don’t listen to all the negativity. I couldn’t have done this any younger ❤ enjoy your life and time together! All happens when it’s meant to!
Exactly the same - had my little girl at 32, been on the pill since 17 but fell pregnant within 3 months of being off it. Everyone is different but shouldn't feel pressured to try before they are ready! We thoroughly enjoyed our 20s and some time "just us" before the chaos of parenthood! No rush ❤
@@lucykeegan2700 Couldn’t agree more! You hear all the negative stories so I like to share a positive one. I’ve loved my 20s and 30s so far and only feel this is the right time for us! People also always put pressure on the woman but it takes 2 people to decide ❤️
I do think it's important for people to know that it doesn't happen "first time" for everyone though, and the longer you wait, the harder it gets, that is a fact.
Do NOT rush into having kids. Even though you seem a solid couple and you're married now, once you take that step there's NO going back and your life will never be the same again. You say you're content with life now so I would wait another 3 or so years if I were you. At least. You have so much exciting stuff going on and are still super young. Enjoy your life and all the fun experiences that being child-free brings because you won't be able to easily do all that stuff once you have a baby. When you truly want a bub the desire will be strong.... so you'll just know. I had my daughter later in life and so glad that I did. I'm a better mother as a result because my partner and I travelled and had so many great experiences together before we had a kid. It's tough looking after a baby so don't rush into it. It tests your relationship a lot too.
@@suecoo66agreed! we bought our first house at 21 and unexpectedly fell pregnant last year so we now have a 3mo old. definitely sooner than expected but we’re beyond grateful and happy that we get to share growing up with her ❤
Gaining a platform these days can be done by a lot of people, it’s not always something that has that much longevity either, well not for everyone. However, using a platform to do good, and help others through charity fundraising or donations is, in my eyes, setting you apart as someone who deserves a platform. Seeing how others live is also good for us morally, it gives us perspective on just how much we do have compared to many others. I’m really happy to hear you’re doing a charity event. 👏🏻
Just half way through your video now, I’m currently on a weight loss journey, you keep me motivated, I think watching videos of people who train or love it keeps me motivated, thankyou for your videos ❤️
Zoe… you will be an amazing mum. You don’t need a House to have a child, you have a Home full of love. Follow the flow, no stress and trust God has the best plan for you. Sending lots of love and blessings to you and Danny. You both will be great parents 😊❤️
I am 30 with 2 kids and in my opinion kids are the greatest gift. No doubt there is hard work involved but what in life is worth having that you haven't had to put a fair bit of effort in? Just to see their innocence and joy for life is a gift i am very grateful for. All the best to you!
40 is the new 30 truly! Enjoy your married life first because that’s the base you need for a family. Please don’t rush for children, the longer you wait the more sure, the more prepared and the more love there will be! ❤
I could listen to you all day🖤 don’t put pressure on yourself or listen to anyone else, you will do things in life when you are ready to do them and when the time is right for you and Danny x
We're pregnant with our first at 37/39, We're renting just now and can't look at houses until next year when I'm back from maternity leave. Honestly when it happens you'll be happy and get on with things. We don't have a nursery but then the baby should be in your room for 6 months anyway, You just make it work and when the time comes you'll be so excited the other things won't matter.
Adore your videos zoe💛you know what even if you don’t want children , then that’s okay as it’s your life and your decisions and in the nicest way possible, it’s no one else’s business apart from you and Danny💛✨💛no one should ever put pressure on you to have children and totally agree if it’s meant to be💛✨ your skin looks sooooo stunning zoe!✨✨and so so glowy!🥰💛✨
Being a military child myself - my parents made it work bringing my brother up when my dad was in. Don’t put pressure on yourself you’ll find your feet you’re so young xx
my befriend just had her first baby at 39... I'm not saying everyone will have it as easy as she did, but you just have to do what feels right at that time.. don't rush anything if you're not 100%ready
I think most females have the child thing at the back of their heads - how you feel is totally valid. I've just turned 31, been travelling for 10 months and now setting up life / new chapter in Australia. The world is our oyster and sometimes we can get so consumed with society norms/pressures that we stop thinking for ourselves. We expect that we should feel a certain type of way, and if we don't we question it. Which is so silly! You do you girl, enjoy everything for what it is now. I feel like we will know when we are ready to make certain sacrifices, I know there is never the right time but if you are loving life the way it is right now then LIVE IT UP sis! PS adore your vlogs, you have the purest soul xxxxx
With buying a house you learn along the way! It’s so stressful but worth it in the end! And things happen when they are meant to. And babies, there is never a right time lovely. Xx
I honestly never felt ready for kids. My boy was a surprise at 25 & I can’t imagine life without him - we still travel, still have our same fun relationship just with +1. I’m almost glad he was a surprise as I don’t think i’d have ever been able to go for it 🙈 there’s no right or wrong age to have kids! I also don’t think anyone’s ever fully ready!
your comment made me smile ❤ we are 23 with a 3month old baby along with a mortgage, and there’s always so many people saying how early it is but we’re just happy we get to give her everything & have her grow up alongside us! our girl was also a surprise but we’d never change the way it happened.
With kids, decide how many you’d like to have (if all goes well) and then do the math. If you want 2 and have your first at 30 you’d be looking at having your second around 32. The body takes about 2 years to recover after birth so 2 years in between pregnancies is kind of a minimum. Having 2 kids under 2 is hard work so say you add an extra year in between, you’d be looking at being 33, with your last birth at 34. Fertility does decline after 35 due to poorer egg quality. If you have underlying issues like endo or PCOS that decline starts earlier. If you delay your parenting journey till 35 you’re statistically more likely to have difficulties getting and staying pregnant, particularly if your second would be at 37. I delayed having kids till 37 and had 4 years of fertility treatments. It was hell. It will never be the right time, but there is a window of time before things get hard. Good luck guys ❤
I think this is very important. Unfortunately women are told that they have years but statistics show otherwise, sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind.
Literally same on the wedding point. I tell people all the time I loved the day but I love that we can just live our life now. And we’re not having kids so even more buzzing to just life. Glad you’re happy and everything is going well for you 🥰🥰❤
I hope Molly gonna do collab with you on Maebe for sports wear ❤️ that would be amazing i would definitely get few pieces! One sister Molly is good But two sisters doing collab is amazing! Love you both ❤️
Live your life Zoe, you don't get these young and free days back, make the most of them ❤ I had my kids at 31 and 33 and have zero regrets about all the fun I had first x
Pregnant with my 1st baby at 22 honestly don’t put pressure on yourself what so ever! I was on the pill for 7 years and where trying and trying and I gave up hope but it happens when it happened don’t put pressure on your self at all ! ❤️ and the house I got my first house June of this year I didn’t understand mortgages or anything but honestly best thing me and my partner have ever done no pressure on house hunting either xx
We went through this as well both me and my partner are self employed. You need so much more as a self employed person as evidence compared to employed people it’s frustrating! But once you hit the 2 years and it’s seen you can afford the mortgage repayments for that long then they take it seriously. You’ll get there! And you’ll likely be able to afford something better next time you apply anyway so keep telling yourself that house wasn’t supposed to be ❤❤
I met a friend the other day for a walk and what we agreed on was if you’re waiting to have kids please get a fertility check done. It’s so important to wait until you’re ready, although to be honest I don’t think that exists I think it’s always a MASSIVE curve ball in the most amazing beautiful way ❤ I had my daughter at 28 and hope I can have another at 33-34 (currently 31). However I do have friends who have waited and are having problems - they wished they’d had fertility checks so they could make more informed decisions and have a plan. Again it’s something not spoken about in school or even encouraged and feel like it should be ❤
I’m a mortgage advisor in the UK, and you definitely can get a mortgage with 1 full years accounts and a projection of next years from your accountant 🥰
First time pregnant at 38 and I still only feel about 25 🤣 it’s totally normal to have children later in life these days. Enjoy being married first and you’ll know when is the right time for you both. 💖
Love the video as always Zoe! Just so you know, you can get mortgage lenders who will accept 1 years self-employed accounts so once you have that you can get approved. You can also get lenders who allow for “consent to let” so if you did ever want to move away to be closer to Danny for work, the bank will allow you to keep the house and rent out your property during this time while you live somewhere else at no additional costs or changes to your mortgage, massively popular with our armed forces clients as circumstances can change so suddenly and it means they don’t need to sell their current home! I work for a mortgage advisor firm with a boss who is also ex-military and as a gesture of goodwill he doesn’t charge any fees for anyone that’s served or if currently serving so please do let me know if you’d like us to take a look for you. We are based in Kent but deal with clients all over the country 😊 x
I'm 53,I have two sons,25 and 19, I wouldn't put pressure on myself to be pregnant by 30 if I was you,but I wouldn't leave it too long for lots of reasons, you're both physically fit,but it's the lack of sleep that hits hard in those early days, and let's face it babies/children get sick and no one sleeps, but it's not forever, you will know when the time is right Zoe,the bit I found difficult was going by my son's timetable, and it changes frequently, best of luck with it all,it will work out just fine ❤
Omg that bit where you said “someone tell me what to do” I felt that 😂😂 Bought a house last year and now me and my boyfriend are constantly talking about whether we should or shouldn’t have kids and fully can’t decide 🫠 no one talks about how difficult making this decision is 😅
How you feel about having kids is exactly how I feel right now. I love being an auntie and I love kids but also very content with our life right now and we’re just not ready for that change
Brilliant to have a catch up video about everything that has been happening. For instance training and the house! Major and important change for you both. I will be delighted once you find the right place. Love your current place feels cosy. Hope you and Danny are well! 🧡✨️
1st child at 33, second at 34. I would say if you truly want kids then go for it. We really struggled to get pregnant and lost a baby on the way so wish we started younger but at same time enjoy your free time where you can do exactly what you want. I do miss those days haha. Do what's best for you x
I would suggest that if you both are willing to wait a while to get pregnant, I would get things checked to make sure you don't have any issues trying to concieve. I got married when I was 25, and we started trying to concieve since and I will be 30 this year, and we still don't have a baby. I was happy that I started early because I never thought I would have issues trying to concieve. I wish you both the best of luck with whatever journey you are going on ❤
Thinking ahead and being so organised , always stay so strong and think positive in every situation that’s if it’s not so good news you always seem to come on glowing and good at keeping happy….. and making the best out of any situation, you should be proud !! I’m still working on this but you motivate me . Genuinely these videos make a difference to your supporters , including me , your a great role model!! Never be too hard on yourself, you’ve came so far from your first ever video. First time writing a comment soz a lil cringe but just keeping it real love it 🎉❤ Ps . Molly is owning it, proud of you gal !!! Owned it chick !! First ever comment but I felt like I had to say this it’s a goood lol boost to hear some nice progress I’ve noticed
Don't wait til 35 to start trying in case you have any fertility issues! I had mine at 33 and honestly i would not have wanted to start later! You can fit them in around your life, there's no perfect time but in terms of biology and health, it's so much easier younger x
I have worked for a mortgage adviser for 5 years and I would say...find somewhere bigger to rent 😅 you generally need a minimum of 2-3 years full accounts to get a mortgage if you're self employed (and they will average these!) General rule of thumb is work out your joint income and multiply this by 4.5 or 5, that's roughly how much mortgage you will be allowed 😊 it's quite complex, so find a trustworthy adviser!
Zoe don't worry we had like 4-5 offers that we put in before we managed to find our home and in the end it was definitely for the best. The mortgage thing I think lenders will only lend to you if you can demonstrate your income over a few years or you have something like a signed contract that says what your salary is going to be. I hope that in January something amazing comes up and I'm sure when it does it will just be right ❤
You may already know this but if you don’t - you can get a mortgage with Halifax with 1 years self employed paperwork. Not sure if there’s an upper limit for the price of the house, but Halifax are great for self employed!
Omg can’t believe I am so early! I just went on your channel as was missing your content 😅. I love your videos so much you’re honestly such an inspiration to me and I wish you all the best best! 😊❤
Hey Zoe, try a mortgage advisor who specialises in mortgages for self employed people. You might also be able to use a spring back mortgage (similar thing as having a guarantor). Hope that helps lovely, good luck with finding your dream home. It’s an emotional roller coaster purchasing a property and it sounds like you’re having a tough time already. Try and not take no for an answer and follow your heart. You will get there 😊 xx
I think you shousjust go with the flow you and Danny are very much in love and you will find your footing with kids weather you get pregnant now or in the next 3 years because you are a team and have a fantastic support network too ❤️
Your right there’s never a good time to have babes but if your in a loving relationship I wouldn’t worry things always work out and if you waited it may not happen and then youv waisted all those precious years🥰
Zoe you do need 2yrs otherwise you are considered too much of a risk to lend to. The only way around it is to have someone as a guarantor. Even with 2yrs it can be difficult.
As far as when to have kids, I totally get how you feel. My niece is a LOT even though I love her. I'd say get your fertility checked, because I know too many people who waited and then sadly couldn't. Men and women. For peace of mind both get checked and then you can feel more comfortable waiting longer. You guys also remind me so much of my parents. They didn't let their hiking and adventure lives stop. They just strapped us to their backs and took us on adventures. I am forever grateful for them.
Aw so good to see yous back! Dont leave it too long til next time heehee! You look so well and happy both of you! And yes what will be will be, and divine timing and all that! 😊✨️xx
Fertility naturally declines as we age, and it can sometimes take longer to conceive than expected. At 35, there is a higher risk of complications, and it might be a good idea to check your fertility health earlier, just to be aware of any potential issues. This way, you can plan ahead and avoid any unexpected delays, since women don't always have the luxury of time when it comes to starting a family. Consulting a doctor early on can really help with making informed decisions.
I’m an accountant and if your year end is 05/04/2024 those accounts should be complete already and potentially you should have 05/04/2023. The deadline for the accounts is January but that isn’t when they can be complete - some accountants just get them done really late which won’t help you. However, if you’re a limited company and your year end is 31st January then there is no way around it. Hope this helps as many of our clients have this issue and it’s never a nice thing ❤️ loved the video again
I think people have children earlier because there’s less risk of complications. The older you get there’s more risk of lots of different complications x
Try a specialist mortgage company. There are ones that will offer mortgages in special circumstances but the interest rates are higher than high street lenders xxx
Houses, mortgage, pensions, I wish we learnt it all in school 😅 ughhh that question and presumption that your married now lets go with trying for kids…. Enough of that leave couples to their life 😣😞
Congratulations to Danny on his new position! Don't be scared about the sea kayak -- I think you guys will love it! During my time at the military academy in the U.S. I had to do a month of sea kayaking/survival training in Alaska. Look up how to use your back to paddle instead of your biceps -- super easy!
My husband and I feel the sameeee way. We are always talking about how glad we are we don't have to do that full time lol. I never felt like I was born to be a mom either. It's such a hard decision for sure
You can get a mortgage with one years self employed income not with high street lenders though and the interest will be slightly higher. My content creator friend just did it you can search online for diff options of lenders who allow it there’s a few x
The children conversation is so difficult, we’ve always wanted children and wanted to wait until we had a house and was stable financially etc and now we are and have been trying and it hasn’t happened yet, so now I’m thinking we should have tried earlier but Sod’s Law you try earlier and get pregnant first go 😅 my advice would be to come off contraception a year or so before and get used to your cycle and tracking as it is a lot harder to get pregnant than you initially think, wish I’d not spent 10+ years on different contraceptions if I knew what the odds were (20% if you have sex whilst ovulating which is only a few days in the month😱)
Zoe! Estate agent in Cheshire East here! Prices are coming down and so are mortgage rates, this is meant to be and so hold on! ❤ there are also specialist mortgage lenders that can find products you’d never find yourself!
We got a mortgage using 3 months self employed slips! Look into it, its definitely possible for self employed people to get a mortgage on less than 2 years slips

I see a Zoe rae video, I must watch
Exact the same with apples 🤣 pink lady’s and cut in slices - no peanut butter for me though 😂
Brilliant to have a catch up video about everything that has been happening. For instance training and the house! Major and important change for you both. I will be delighted once you find the right place. Love your current place feels cosy. Hope you and Danny are well! 🧡✨️
Love the way danny is so natural in front of the camera
Good luck in new role danny
I'm also in the same baby dilemma but older! thank you for sharing Zoe 💕
I wish you both the best of luck with whatever journey you are going on ❤
You look so happy Zoe ❤
Such a nice lady.
Enjoying the vlogs ❤
Love you vlogs, always have the best energy and you guys are the cutest couple ❤
First time writing a comment soz a lil cringe but just keeping it real love it 🎉❤
Ps .
I hope that in January something amazing comes up and I'm sure when it does it will just be right ❤
Love your Sunday vlogs ❤ Sundays are my lazy hungover UA-cam days 😂
You may already know this but if you don’t - you can get a mortgage with Halifax with 1 years self employed paperwork. Not sure if there’s an upper limit for the price of the house, but Halifax are great for self employed!
Omg can’t believe I am so early! I just went on your channel as was missing your content 😅. I love your videos so much you’re honestly such an inspiration to me and I wish you all the best best! 😊❤
What a lovely message. 💗
Another great watch, just love hearing about what you are both up to. Thank you for sharing 🥰 x
Just see what happens, sometimes planning is actually more stressful than letting things just be ❤
Love ur vlogs, don't let anyone put pressure on you to do anything, enjoy doing things u enjoy. U are absolutely perfect @Zoe Rae❤❤❤❤
Bambi does have cousins close to her age (tysons kids)
I love the saying bits and bobs it makes me smile
Hey Zoe, try a mortgage advisor who specialises in mortgages for self employed people. You might also be able to use a spring back mortgage (similar thing as having a guarantor). Hope that helps lovely, good luck with finding your dream home. It’s an emotional roller coaster purchasing a property and it sounds like you’re having a tough time already. Try and not take no for an answer and follow your heart. You will get there 😊 xx
Always love watching your videos! So funny when you mentioned the Emily bit ‘ why you always eating Emily’😂😂👏👏
End of Dec/early Jan is a the most popular time for properties getting added to rightmove! Will be perfect timing for you to have lots of choice ❤
😊✨️xx
Slow down your just married enjoy that .Start planning things after Xmas .What do you want first think about that for a while .
So glad your back Zo - my treadmill runs have been awful without your content to watch 😂
I can totally relate to the whole getting a mortgage and being self employed… we were not prepared for this😩😩
You 2 are very cute. Enjoy your time as newlyweds and the rest will all click into place ❤
The waves in St. Vincent are big! Good luck 😮😮
What foundation / make up combo are you wearing in this video please? You’re looking GLOWING
I think people have children earlier because there’s less risk of complications. The older you get there’s more risk of lots of different complications x
Try a specialist mortgage company. There are ones that will offer mortgages in special circumstances but the interest rates are higher than high street lenders xxx
Don’t wait too long the energy of kids is harder as you are older 😂😂
Pink lady apple and peanut butter is the best combo!
Houses, mortgage, pensions, I wish we learnt it all in school 😅 ughhh that question and presumption that your married now lets go with trying for kids…. Enough of that leave couples to their life 😣😞
Love your channel x Please can you do a week of workouts and meals! x
This video is so relatable
My husband and I feel the sameeee way. We are always talking about how glad we are we don't have to do that full time lol. I never felt like I was born to be a mom either. It's such a hard decision for sure
You can get a mortgage with one years self employed income not with high street lenders though and the interest will be slightly higher. My content creator friend just did it you can search online for diff options of lenders who allow it there’s a few x
Oh sorry just heard u say u will get 1 full year in Jan 😅 I clearly need to wait before commenting
Ohh here she is, nice and early 🥰❤️
11:06 get a house then kids afterwards, don't pressure yourself but then again im just 22 so idk lmaoo
Love that “why are you always eating Emily🤣🤣🤣”
Love this catch up video. Thanks Zoe....❤
Enjoy few years being married kids change everything. In a good way but its very hard and no sleep if you like training etc
Pink lady’s are my fav apple, keep them in the fridge makes them really juicy.
I think you’d love honey crisp apples as well.
We got a mortgage using 3 months self employed slips! Look into it, its definitely possible for self employed people to get a mortgage on less than 2 years slips
It’s funny how people are only watching your videos to see if you mention Tommy & Molly including me ha
