Wow, sounds like you're really turning over a new leaf and trying to become a new man. Taking personal responsibility, thinking long-term and saving in real money, quitting drinking, and now quitting smoking? That's a hell of a hard row to hoe, but if you can stay motivated and focused, I think you can do it. If you can make it to 30 days, you'll start habituating your body to the new lifestyle, and if you can make it to the 9 month mark, you're super unlikely to fall off the wagon with any of the changes you're making. I really don't protect my Silver either. You have to spend so much time, effort, and money trying to have air-tights for everything, tubes, etc... with ZERO guarantee that it won't tone or milk-spot even when kept behind a protect barrier. I do keep my Silver in the white opaque CoinSafe coin tubes, but that's mostly for organizational purposes. I also collect Copper passively, so I have probably 250 to 300 Copper rounds that I've pick up over the last couple of decades. Usually, it's been because I have a certain amount of money to spend and rather than spending my last $3 or $4 on a War Nickel or a Dime, I just ended up buying a Copper round with a cool design on it. So I just kind of collect it passively. I keep pre-'82 Copper pennies too, but I don't buy boxes of pennies to try and pull out all of the Copper. I just use cash, and when I break down my cash and get change, I just save the Copper pennies. Anyway, just another little pile of monetary metals, but my focus is still on Silver and Gold. Anyway, looks like good pickups, and it looks like you're stepping into a lot of success. Glad to hear you're enjoying your Summer. Keep stacking & popping out those awesome art pieces!
@@veritasfiles Doing my best to be a better me everyday, and as of today 13 days cigarette free 🤘. In today's economy smoking not only is bad for the health but hurts the wallet 😂. Rather put my cigarette money towards food which is only getting more expensive and silver. And I 100% agree with the air tights, my lcs owner sometimes has extras to put silver in for free and when he does I'm all for it, but if not I don't mind. For most of my silver I expect to get around or under melt on most pieces. A few I know I want to retain the premiums like the proof silver eagle I got. And in regards to copper I hoard my pre 1982 pennies too, and I actually do like the bar I purchased. Might buy more when I order online and I need to round up to 200 without over doing it.
