My friend made this for us, it was very good. Chicken meat turned out moist and very tasty. She covered the chicken w aluminium foil first then remove to roast it golden colour. Those mashed chick peas were so flavourful. A better alternative than roast potatoes as it’s protein instead of carbs.

I don't know about corn, but marigolds turn chicken skin yellow.
