I think the closest america has to a Jimmy carr or a frankie Boyle is Anthony jeselnik. And he has a delivery that is far more sinister which leaves you wondering how much is actually comedy and how much is him exorcising some demons 😂 Jimmy is one of my favourites, I’ve seen him 8-9 times love and he always manages to find a joke to catch me off guard even after all this time
Offensive jokes are pretty much the only ones that get me to lol. It's sad that a good amount of time during a comedian's set these days are spent explaining they are not serious.
