Very meticulous build. But my unit the seat post slipped uncontrollably as it was 28.65mm D wide and it needed 29.1 width. After 100 slips in 100 rides, some drops 7 mms, I had to wrap it in 0.2mm brass fused with 5000,psi resin. I also had this zero offset seapost and I endured it 10 rides as it tilted backwards that Ritchie’s chewing the mast at 9-13 nm, eating it. Had to move to the 150 mm offset with dual clamps. It has not moved 5000 kms since. But frame recalled as my front mount was incorrectly riveted and I had to file the durability ace FD cage as it kept intersecting the 54 T and had no room for a 56 to begin with. Riveted to low and CCW as if for a smaller frame with a 74.5 angle. Anyhow. When the saddle stayed levelled, seapost did not slip etc, the VRS delivers excellent performance and feels stiffer than the SL8. Even if not as fast, it enables more power delivery at different times of any workout.

I loved it when UAE were Campagnolo equipped, as it shut up all these jealous Shima(NO!) people! Why UAE dropped Campagnolo we will have to wait to find out, but I expect it was money!? Without any Campagnolo in the top bike teams, it has just got very boring and bland, with everyone using Shima(NO!), and SRAM equipment. Their equipment is so dull, with no design flare or passion, yet most people buy it(even Italians!!!). I saved a little used Bianchi Specialissima, rim brake in custom orange which had above equipment, so stripped it off, and fitted 12-speed Super Record EPS, WTO wheels, ENVE carbon bars & stem, Selle SMP F30 carbon saddle, etc. A few years ago, I bought a Colnago C60 with 11-speed SR EPS, Bora Ultra, etc but recently sold it as the frame was too big(was told my size by 4 Colnago Dealers!!!), so I recently bought a C64 disc in my right size(although not in a colour I would choose!), which had Campagnolo fitted, but not EPS! I am getting it changed, but currently waiting for the new Deda Alanera RS integrated bars(on waiting list!) to finish the build! I have virtually given up on all sport as it is just "Entertainment for the Masses", as Rome uses it for "Bread & Circuses", to distract the people, while they do nasty things(what we have now!) Pro-Cycling is so corrupt with the UCI still filled with the same corrupt people as in the Armstrong era! A girl died, yet they don't care, as everything is about money!!!
