Tom Was Here: The Bayernhof Museum - O’Hara Township, PA - April 2024

We visted the Bayernhof Museum in O’Hara Township, PA to see what it is all about. The former estate of Charles B. Brown is not your average home. It’s a sprawling estate that’s filled with a collection of things that other homes simply don’t have. Beyond an impressive array of antique music boxes, players and machines, the Bayernhof also has an observatory, gambling room, a secret cave, hidden passageways, a luau style pool with a waterfall and so much more. It also has parts of the home that are a time capsule to 1980’s excess. It’s a guided tour that is well worth the trip.
