5:18 Yep. That is honestly an insanely annoying thing that shouldn't happen. I'm glad I started as storm burst totems. These mobs are scary and have been taking my lumps for me.
Good point about lightning coil vs. cloak of flames is that Coil is damage from hits, whereas cloak of flames also mitigates DoT. I still prefer the stats of lightning coil, but cloak of flames is still a great option in the long run.
I don't know if they are also elsewhere but I feel like Atzoatly has the always crits cold proj vaal mobs that snipe you from the edge of the screen and insta freeze you. I had to link my eternal blessing + determination with purity of elements at first to have an emergency button, but ended up mostly using PoE I mean who needs armour 20% DR is good enough if you kill faster than you die.
At first I planned to not use purity of elements, but after I had to dealt with ailment reflect I changed my mind. Other than this, the mod "Always crit" kinda became more common than it used to be. So if you're not immune to crit, it's basically death sentence.
I had a pretty horrible league start. I tried something new and went with a low-life build. I will never be starting low life again. Hope everyone is having a better league start than me :*(
This is the hardest league mechanic I have played as a whole. Crucible had harder things, Archnemisis had some very hard mobs, but I have died the most I have ever died over all. And I'm playing a Jorgen delve build which I did a run thru last week playing the same build. Even Jorgen said it's hard.
Im res capped, 3.4k hp, 30% spell suppression and 66% phys mitigation and am still getting blasted out of existence. I clearly just such though. Im only in T6s atm
Spell supression requires 100% or nothing at all. It does not scale well. You have to work to get 100% spell supression to feel it working. Not sure what level you are, but more life is always helpful. It is really a balance to find all the pieces that get you defensive stability.
subtractem, I must say, I'm trying your FB ignite build and it's so much fun. I'm in late campaign so I haven't tested any difficult content but my God the campaign has been trivial. I don't even keep a hand on the keyboard for heals lol. so many doubters out there but im officially sold its a ton of fun to play.
The best defense is a good offense. If you are Attack based, check your accuracy against evasive and take enemies cant block your attacks (attack mastery). Both show up on lanturn and can be annoying.
@@TheAluvisify yea that was what the video was about... This was ment to be supplementary to that. Lacking in Accuracy for Attack based can get you killed just as much as not having defences. You no longer leech, knockback, deal damage, get flask charges, etc if things arent getting hit when you expect them to. Extra important for this league where you cant avoid enemies being evasive or blocking attacks like before where you could just avoid expedition.
good video but personally w/ enough Leech.. % health back and mana its possible to never take a health node on the Passive Tree... if your dying to much bc of Health issues.. 'get better' is all i have to say.
Have you thought about Dyadian Dawn belt? Does that work for this build? Ziz talks about how its a huge more dmg multiplier for EA. So maybe good here too?
no problem with campaing.i did faster and get a few exalted orbs during rush.just a change needed,atlas map need option so i can avoid league mechanics
Sounds like you got lucky tbh getting all the way to A8.. This is why I don’t mess with HC, this game can be unrealistically rippy sometimes not all the time

I usually play extra tanks on all characters I play but this league anything I do equals one shot can barely get any exp lvl 90+. Been playing off and on 12 years and I hate this league
Changes, changes, changes..... lolol Purity of Elements is great. Great killer build so far... in Act 4...yup, that's it, got a life.....lol . Changes from your build...because... can't get right color of socs, can't get enough socs, lack of crafting assets to do anything, so the crafting mechanic is pretty bad. Lack of crafting knowledge will hurt in maps later...4k life , millions dmg DPS. lolol . Get to see your changes before I face later stuff. But having fun !
do you have POB for starter/mid/end game COC vortex builds i been gone for 3 years kinda messed up and used this build for this league starter would be cool u can post starter/mid lvl / end lvl build @Subtractem

Going through yellow maps, LC + 3.8k HP. Didn't have problems so far. On FB

I’m not having issues with the monsters I’m having issues with not getting very good loot and the crafting mechanic is pretty bad.
played hc for the first time rushed easily to act 8 with having good defense just for 1 mob to put an end to it. Now I have a chain of bad luck :c
