- Before watching this, this is not the episode "Too Far Gone" S04E08. This is a tribute to The Walking Dead and to its characters. Season 4 is by far (in my opinion) the best season of The Walking Dead. It centers on the idea of being too far gone from the person you were.

I think if the Governor had not changed, he would had killed michonne and hershel on the spot when he was scouting the prison. And then just attacked it with his tank & the group.

The Governor really thought he was doing the right thing (And also a morale thing in a sense). But his ways of doing it was brutal and cold. But at least in season 4, he had a justifiable purpose to commit evil acts. The writers really did a great job of putting us viewers inside of his head to understand his antics as a survivor. The Governor taught me that there are sides to every story, and people see things differently. The Gov saw the world as a free for all, and Rick saw the world as a crisis that could be fixed with the alliance of survivors. Both men were affected by the world in a different way, which culminated in both of them thinking in their own way regarding the mechanisms of survival.
