Hey everyone, I just couldn’t stop myself from using this song again for the third time already! I just really love the vibe this song has with the perfect build up and incredible pay off at the drop. Frank’s choice is definitely one of my favourite soundtracks to listen to. It was originally featured in the show ‘The Punisher’, which most of you know of course.
I’ve used similar songs for Rick Grimes before, and people seemed to like those videos, such as ‘I’m Not The Good Guy Anymore’ and ‘The Story of Rick Grimes’. So I figured why not. I was originally going to use this for a Shane Walsh tribute (which is iron since Jon Bernthal is also the actor for Frank Castle), but ultimately decided to go with our long surviving sheriff’s deputy.
The title ‘Too Far Gone’ refers of course to the season 4 episodes 1-8 story arc about Rick trying to be more humane so his son can live a somewhat normal life. Now in the show they make Rick the good guy and have the Governor be too far gone (albeit you could say Rick was also too far gone, because he literally chewed out a guy’s throat and all, but I don’t want to get into that, since I think it was justified), but now I wanted to make Rick look a lot darker and more menacing, so I’ve made him to be the person who is too far gone. With this soundtrack is was rather easy to do and I had a lot of fun editing this together. I tried to bring in new shots, since I’ve noticed I’m reusing a lot of the same scenes in my edits and it’s kind of becoming awkward.

The reason I love Rick so much is that In some instances he could be passed off as a villain and other times a hero. Each season he suffers with “that” side of him and it’s so interesting

Those lines are some of my favourite in the show, because it shows so perfectly that nobody is truly evil in TWD and that everyone has their own story and reasons for the decisions they've made along the way.

Rick Grimes: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly all in one.
"Everyone's a villian in somebudy's else story." These words fit Rick completly,we have watched him for a long time,and we consider him a "hero". But there's no such things as that,it's a dog-eat-dog world in TWD,and yes,in other people's story,Rick is a villian.
EDIT: Holly shit,im watching S10 EP 1 right now and Aaron said something about being a villian in somebudy's else story.

Yeah everyone keeps on hating on Negan. Without realising that Rick killed an entire Negan outpost. In return. Negan killed 2 people. If Rick was in Negan's position then he would have probably killed all of them.
BTW this is not to hate on Rick. He is my favourite character.

Omg Rick was never a villain. Stop with that shit. Sure he's done some things, but the reason why is because he wanted to protect his family. He never enjoyed it. Negan, The Governor, Alpha and Beta all enjoyed that shit. Rick never forced people to kneel, never forced communities to give him half of their shit. Didn;t bash heads in with a smile on.

This is amazing. It shows Rick's brutal nature that twd fans often miss, they underestimate him like Shane and his enemies did. Rick has long battled making peace that that violence is a part of him its equally a part of him along with his humanity. I miss Rick grimes.
