    My nephew I think has phobia of nail varnish , ink , paint and feet , he also has ocd , pda and maybe asd , do you think all these could be connected, he has had a traumatic childhood , it got to the point he can’t attend school at he moment , our outing have to be carefully thought out or sometime cancelled cus to stressful , is the anything we can do to help him x

      Hi Tracy, It is very common for neurodiverse children to experience anxiety, and phobias are commonly anxiety-based. Given the complex needs you have described, he likely requires support from a variety of services. I would recommend a Clinical Psychology and Educational Psychology assessment, and also check if the school have initiated a Team Around the Family meeting.

      @@edpsych4kids where would I find a good clinical psychologist that really good in his field , he had a referral to forward thinking Birmingham but I don’t want to be on a waiting list for years , many thanks
