Always fun to watch your videos, enjoy the comments because you usually say what we all think. You sure do have a lot of projects going, good to see a young man staying busy, just kidding, or not! Have a good one.😄
Never ending list of sadness...with some bright spots highlighted with your ongoing commentary. With current grain prices, not promising to be a year of huge profits. Guess we'll have to make do and preserve what is in working condition!!! As my wife used to say regarding parts prices "is it made of gold" LOL
More importantly there was an ad for Nicoma Park Lumber Co on here which is right down the road from me in Nicoma Park Oklahoma USA! Remember folks don’t skip the ads, Ross gets a piece of that revenue which supports the channel. 👍🏻
@@brokentractorbarnandgrill6598 😂😂😂 today it seems to be custom cnc and injection molding. A couple weeks ago my ads were mostly in Spanish. Go figure.
Nice weather = multiple projects getting done . Would be nice to see you do the motor job . I’m thinking the education and entertainment value would be off the charts 😂. Thanks for another great video Ross . See ya tomorrow .
Man o man. Have a U diesel MM with dual 6. I believe I have spent more on batteries for it than I paid for the tractor. Makes a jumper pak with quick connections look really good. Little #9 wire to hold it down, what could go wrong
I just got the new tires put on the front of my Super 88 and they weren't even going flat yet. Don't worry, sadness found me and I had to find a new wheel for the one to make it more better😂
Thanks for the video, It's a shame the 12v version of those batteries for the other tractor are only half the cranking amps of the 6v ones you have, they'd fit right in but I'd bet it wouldn't start very well when the sun went behind the clouds. When i do wet sleeves during rebuilds I made a puller with a thick washer to go in the bottom of the sleeve then a 1" ready rod and a large pipe with a cross bar to pull them from the top. The last one I did was a 466 in a grain truck, i got fed up of getting in and out of the cab on my own, so made a new puller with the pull washer on a hinge so it dropped down the bore from the top and when the crank journal was in the right place it would hinge flat and center in the bottom of the sleeve and pull up without getting under the truck, i kinda wish I'd done it before that job it worked so well. To be honest I hate in frames with a passion it's the most half assed way there is to do a motor and get covered in oil and grease , then find 3 weeks later a rear seal or clutch goes out and you're back there again anyway. Take care
Question.... is there someone that can redo the nameplate and model numbers on those 4 number olivers and look like brand new? My 1600 looks brown not clover white... I wanna make it look back to new
I just sand them off and repaint them, and then order a new set of decals. You can try to clean them up with some light sanding and metal polish but you’ll probably end up wearing most of the decal off by the time you’re satisfied with the color.
"pretty paint outside disaster inside" story of how my $1300 "good condition ford 9n" is im now $1000 in parts into it but hey i know how to rebuild a 9n now and thats priceless so i guess i cant bitch
I hope the weather holds out a bit longer. Makes working outside much gooder!
I agree!!

Great video Ross. I always loved doing spring maintenance. Just a great reminder of what is to come weather wise. Thank you so much for sharing.
Thanks Keith!
A day with Ross is always entertaining you never know what is going to happen next
👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks!
I need a Ross video every day. Really like seeing those Oliver tractors.
Thanks Bob!
Ross drives all the way to Michigan and only gets to drive the Deutz. The video of Sadness. 😂
I’ve driven a Deutz before I guess I can do it again 😭
It's always nice to just hang out with you and follow along while you're fixing things.
Thanks Jonathan!

Driving to Michigan would be a good test run for the super cheap superduty
That would definitely be the longest trip It’s been on since I’ve had it.
It's only money! Batteries are always a PITA!
my 1755 came to me with just a flat plate and a bungee
I’d say about 90% of them you find out in the wild these days just have that bungee cord set up 🤣

I agree. I'd really like to see some engine overhaul videos too. I know Chris did some during the winter but I'm way behind on his videos.
When are you going to get back to working on mighty whitie ? Planting season will be here before you know it.
There is always something to do! Thanks for sharing
Thanks John!

Batteries ? 😁 Tractor supply . 6 or 12 ? two 12 volt in paralel will fit and may cost less . great video thanks
I'd try a 4DLT battery in the old girl. I bet it would get you pretty close to the length and width of the double battery setup.
Mr. Ross you need a viewer to send you a
Sand blasting cabinet;) !!!! You are forever
needing one around there!
Perhaps try using a floor jack and some piece of wood (4x4) to push the sleeves out? Keep up the good work!
Always things to do, nice video Ross.
Thanks Larry!
I was surprised you had bad luck with decka batteries.
what maddnes did we do now.

Did you get the tires for Mighty Whitey?
The place said they’re ordered, but they haven’t seen them yet
@@rosstheoliverman They might be on a slow boat from China.
I spent 150$ at the ol Napa on a battery the other day but got a free hat out of it so it was worth it right!?
