I wrote this song after leaving an abusive relationship. Its that moment in time when your still in love with the one that abuses you. That time in which you miss him. You miss his touch, his kiss, his love, however toxic it may have been. But you've had to learn the hard way that if you see him again youll be sucked back again and again. In this case I decided he was so unsafe, I would take all my love lust and longing and give it away to a complete stranger. Because giving to him like i wanted to, just might have actually killed me.
