  • New for 2024 is the Wybot C1 cordless robotic pool cleaner. It's an upgrade over last year's Wybot model and has fixed the issues with the online app.
    Features include being cordless, waterline scrubbing, and an online app where you can control the cleaning modes and have access to the scheduled weekly timer. All at a very good price point!
    If you're looking for a great cordless cleaner but not looking to spend too much, this Wybot C1 is a good choice!
    You can pick one up on my link below!

    To be honest, I compared the functions and parameters of these two models. They are basically the same. They can both clear walls and pool bottoms. However, the price of wybot C1 is $180 less than Aiper scubaS1. With the same warranty period, I chose wybot C1 and it works good.

      @imdefinitelydavid  3 місяці тому

      The C1 is a better price point but very wifi dependent if you want to control the modes and the weekly timer.
      As long as it stays on sale and you have a good wifi connection, yes I totally agree!

    Thank you, David, for this review, I have returned WYBOT Osprey 700 back to Amazon, and bought the Aiper Scuba S1, but I will buy this WYBOT C1 too from Amazon for $599 and with $200 coupon, so it is only $399, such a good deal!

      Yeah I'm shocked it's at that price right now. Especially since it does have a weekly timer option. What a deal!

      Out of the C1 and the Scuba S1 I prefer the S1. It's more user-friendly on the cleaner itself. The wybot is easy to use as well but you need to connect to wifi to access features

    Maybe I’ll consider this one but my wife is really into the Polaris being that Leslie pools sells them and I believe will fix them if something goes wrong I’m not sure but we have a Leslie’s pool close by

      I understand that, a decade ago all I bought were Maytronics and Polaris models. I still use my Polaris 360 to this very day during specific times of the season.
      Hopefully with all this competition from other brands, maybe Polaris and other big names will at least lower their prices?

    Im trying to decide between the Aiper scuba S1 & Wybot C1. My pool is rectangular very similar to yours. I have a 10’ 10’ tanning ledge about 9” deep that I was hoping the to get cleaned as well. Would you recommend one over the other? Great video! 👍🏽

    • @imdefinitelydavid
      @imdefinitelydavid  3 місяці тому +1

      My tanning ledge is a little taller than yours being about a foot deep. Yours a bit more shallow but I think both cleaners will still work. They both reach the tanning ledge well.
      What's great about both the S1 and C1 is that they both have weekly timers.
      If you have good wifi connection the Wybot C1 is a great deal. Otherwise, a more simply, physical controlled cleaner is the Scuba S1. More expensive but less range of error from wifi. Hope that helps! 👍

    • @imdefinitelydavid
      @imdefinitelydavid  11 днів тому +1

      If your deep end isn't too big I'd go for the C1 because of that weekly timer function. But if you have a bigger deep end, the Crab would climb it better overall, it's more aggressive in climbing.

    Hey David as far as performance what do you think is better the c1 or scuba s1? I have the scuba but I’m just curious. I know the other has the app feature but just trying to see as far as suction and picking up dirt.

    Would you say this robot + the betta skimmer is the best setup for pool maintenance factoring in price as well? The beatbot has the features to do everything but at over $2k it's a little much considering both of these can be bought for under $1k.

    • @imdefinitelydavid
      @imdefinitelydavid  3 місяці тому

      Totally! The combo of a CORDLESS cleaner with an automatic pool skimmer is what I use during swim season.
      For the cost, if you already have one of those type of cleaners, I would definitely not get the Aquasense Pro. Invest in the other type of cleaner and save a lot of money!

      @@imdefinitelydavid I ended up ordering the new Aiper Scuba S1 as well as their Surfer robot for the surface skimming. Is it so hard to use one that just uses the pool suction? Can't fathom why I'd want an electric one of these when I've seen plenty of others that do just fine and I don't need a stupid app.

    • @imdefinitelydavid
      @imdefinitelydavid  3 місяці тому

      It all depends on your pool setup, budget and how much work you want to do. Suction cleaners work off the water flow of your pool so they're only effective when the pump is on. So robotic cleaners are a good option since it's a separate power source.
      Suction cleaners are also very inexpensive compared to robotic cleaners so they're a great budget choice.
      Suction cleaners are much less work because most people leave them in the pool all the time, whereas robotic cleaners, you will be taking it in and out much more often.
      But hands down, the main reason probably, a robotic cleaner cleans MUCH better overall than any suction cleaner I've ever used. It captures more debris you can't see and able to reach areas of the pool suction cleaners don't.

    So is this meant to replace the Osprey 700? It seems very similar.

    • @imdefinitelydavid
      @imdefinitelydavid  2 місяці тому +1

      When the rep contacted me about it, they literally said "oh great, you've already used the 700, this is similar but with an improved app". So yes, I would say so. But also, the S1 of last year also seems similar to it.

      I can't say for sure, I've seen the c1 try and climb a ledge with only 6 inches of water and it won't go over the edge/ontop of the ledge. So I'm going to assume that yes, it can be used in an infinity pool but I can't say for sure, sorry!
