This was a legacy cementing season for Cole. He could've folded under the criticism and scrutiny for using Spider Tack in the past, but he came out and proved he didn't need it to be great.

Saw him one night that first, brief summer with Bradenton. Not many people in attendance, and I was out in center field. The sound of ball hitting the catcher's mitt just completely resounded like a shot out of a gun throughout all of McKechnie Field. He didn't stay long.

As a Angels fan Iike watching Gerrit Cole pitch, Ohtani had the same Wins last season as Cole this year, both with 15 Wins and Shohei had a better ERA 2.33 and Ks per 9 innings with 11.9 and Yankee fans like to say what if Judge was healthy all season, then what if Ohtani had a full season he would have 15 Wins and 50 HRs this season. Shohei is like Judge and Cole as one player!

Well deserved finally!!! Congrats To the Cole Train 45. Gerrit was amazing this season and deserved the CY YOUNG AWARD. His first! First as a Yankee. That’s history baby! Unanimously.
